IMO rates and cakes should be in the same vote.

Reason? Many ppl are afraid of 7x rates w/o cakes(grind fest). So some of them vote for x15 rates and with cakes just to avoid this shit even if they dont want x15 with cakes. I think many ppl voted like this.

its not like x5 fresh server = new comunity new drama new competition its not the same

ok ppl lets be honest.

if a new server is coming, we want a server that we can play for at least 6 months and have fun like we all did in x5 (aka x15 with cakes) without clans that quit because nobody catch them and later clan quiting because no competition and no wars, and every other excuse ppl use to quit

So forget about x15 + cakes, the only good about that is that the server wil be fast but will result in everybody 85 after 1.5 month, and the people will be 85 and will realize that they need farm alot more to be able to get s80 and they are already 85.. eventually ppl will get bored and server will be dead

The most reasonable choices that I see are:
- x7 and no cakes 1st month

This option would garantee a nice server from its begining, good competition and fun while getting the 1st levels, sub quests, 3rd quest, etc.  and after 1 month it will become a x21 so it would make things faster to end game content

- x15 and no cakes

Will be the same as x5 with perma cake, looks nice and can offer same server life as x5..

Ok, here are my 0.02$.

First of all, I've voted for 7x, no cakes, but it doesn't mean I don't like cake at all- I really love this idea, but my vote "for" cake could mean 15x + cake as well and that's beyond my preferences. If I had a final choice, I would go for 7x and cakes after one month.

Why? Here are my thoughts:
-Cakes after one month will encourage people to start playing on this server, even if it's few weeks old, people won't be so much ahead.
-Cakes are really retarded idea to add on very beginning, mostly because it's very short time, when lowbie pvp appears, make it a little bit longer just to have fun of karmian/avadon pvps.
-One more thing bout not adding cakes on beggining- there is no mats/full items market, it really sucks to hit 78+ with everyone wearing low B grade from lux shop, there should be some time spend to craft some A grade stuff, before everyone is already hitting "the C5 endgame".
-The argument about "more lifers friendly" rate (15x + cakes) is more than not vaild- it's silly. You brag about nolifers, who are willing to spend 10h++ everyday to be ahead, and you are aware of grind. Well, people who play more will be always ahead and it has nothing to do with rates. Awarness of grind- heh, some of us are grinding in L2 for 6 years, it doesn't really matter for me anymore if I have to PvE little more or little less, I will just put the same amount of time, no matter what kind of rate we will have, I will have the same amount of people who are more stacked (via PvE) than me, so it's really not the case to disscuss if you want to setup rates.
-What's the point of haveing 15x (45x with cakes) if s80 quests are not going to be boosted in same way? Well, everyone will hit cap really quick and still have to farm tomes, lvl up HB and so on. Everyone hitting 85lvl is confusing, especially for fighter parties, that are supposed to lvl up quicker than nukers- nukers are a little bit more powerful than fighters, so according to L2 design, they should gain exp slower than fighters, very high rate (like 45x) is going to spoil this status.
-Decent party can make 15kk exp on HB on retail rate, good party can make 30kk. It means, that on 45x same parties can make 675kk-1.35B exp per hour, on 78+ you need like 2.1B-4.9B to hit next level- do you really would like to see people going from ~78 to 85.100% in less than 2 weeks from opeing HB with quite causal PvE? Well, I don't. HB is really cool place to gank, don't  limit PvP only to epics,siges and oly matches so quick.

Anyway, I hope I'm going to play with my friends, and as long as there will be spot for me in their group, it really doesn't matter what rates we are going to have, but better adjusted server means more entertaing game.

x15 w/o any crap that restore your vit is the mid rate, but since cakes are going to boost this rate to x45, it is the high rate. Oh well, please- keep your dumb comments about going back to x5 for yourself, I have no desiere to start there over again, especially if I used to play like 3-4 characters there. The other thing is, x5 afaik is one sided right now so GTFO to your cave of briliant tips. The priv servers have some lifespan, it's usually quite short period, get over it. I really don't care about other servers, this discussion is about the NEW server and everyone is supposed to express oppinion of his own on possible setup choice that will make the most entertaining place to play.

It depends on quest and drop rate, if it will be like on the 5x, then its clearly, we will be must spend the same amount of time. If that rates will be suitable for 15x xp, it's shouldn't happen.
