Ok, to clear this fear situation. My test with Jacky went something like this:
*my equip was full boss jewels and +30 curse: fear and no buffs
*his equip was full boss jewels and +15 wisdom and no buffs

Fear lasted 33-34 seconds in all our tests. Land rate depends quite a lot on matk. Mental shield also influences the land rate quite a lot. As for fear duration, i am no expert, but i'm sure there are other skills(buffs) that can further decrease fear duration. It can be brought under 20 seconds most definitely.

jasinn doesn't have 100% mental resists at pvp, bcuz she doesn't wear freya (valakas ftw). to make 100% mental resists u should wear not only zaken +anthy, u should wear freya+beleth too XD

Btw. whats the fear reuse? (oly conditions with lets say frint, since its quite easy to get even by randoms).  Hope it is few seconds at least. We have to keep in mind that there is min. landrate of debuffs is 10% now so sooner or later it will land. I wouldnt like to be pwned by necro since Im DA

you can't get more than 90% mental resistance in H5 that's the whole point of QQ, there's that minimum 10% chance to land a curse no matter how stacked on boss jewels a character is

I've tested that 10% min land rate a bit with a low level archer against a level 85 with no jewels. The land rate looked to be a little under 5% but even when it landed, the duration was so short that you couldn't even see an animation.

If anyone has access to such a test on retail please do it. Make a low level char and try to land some debuffs on a high level char. I'm ready to bet that land rate will be way below that 10% "minimum". Never trust korean patch notes : P


p.s. i'm tired of deleting flame and offtopic posts so i'll just leave those. But the next ones will be rewarded with 3 to 7 days bans. And i don't know yet that status on the update, left a message for admins about this and when i get home tonight i should have info on  this.

But you didn't understood me. When i said those notes can't be trusted, i meant that they are quite often extremely vague, with no further explanation.

Ok, good, but can this be applied in any situation? That's what i meant. Because having a level 20 cast sleep on an 85 with full boss jewels sounds pretty much retarded, don't you agree? That's why i asked for someone to make this test on retail, i'm really curious to the result. I can tell you right now that on RPG test with such a test, the land rate was 1 in over 20 tries.

well it's logical that there will be some penalty for the lvl difference

u should check another thing . take a high , not a low lvl char and test low lvl debuffs on the char of the same lvl

like 85 ee vs 85 lvl char and test his 30 lvl root, alsow u can take WC 85 lvl and test how his 30 lvl debuffs work
