Ok, to clear this fear situation. My test with Jacky went something like this:
*my equip was full boss jewels and +30 curse: fear and no buffs
*his equip was full boss jewels and +15 wisdom and no buffs

Fear lasted 33-34 seconds in all our tests. Land rate depends quite a lot on matk. Mental shield also influences the land rate quite a lot. As for fear duration, i am no expert, but i'm sure there are other skills(buffs) that can further decrease fear duration. It can be brought under 20 seconds most definitely.

ps:if u use -8str dyes like 95% of GHs in the server atm yes, then go reroll ur dagger to HP drain SA and play only with drains coz u will be loldd with epic mp waste and slot waste in pts.

now old school dye setup is best on h5 with dual daggers u can try +4str -4con, but thats not cool if from part 5 then we are ok maybe mage wont be so epic with that stupid fear... all retail/ruoff forums qq about fear now

those dyes never were old school dyes. just the 95% of GHs has 0 brain atm.

As far as I know abnormal state includes silence/paralysis/hold (root/arrest) and other nice things. What about these ? How well do cubics work ?How well do OL seals land? Aren't these things just as OP as fear?

Can you do a fraps too? Just so we clarify this as legit and that we did same conditions test. Be sure to fraps the equip too and if DC had +15 wisdom. Until now people said that with boss jewels the duration is half and our test actually confirmed it. So please do help us.

abnormal mental states are:all kind of silences,fear,bluff
root,paralyse,sleep(trance) are just debuffs and to resist them you need special resists aka rings (from root),tezza,giran(from paralyse),valakas,goddard (from sleep). Root+sleep(trance) are not mental attacks themselves, even on mental shield buff it's written that it gives resist from mental attacks,root,sleep (root,sleep separated)
therefore, debuffs time and landing chance depends on resist jewels, but for +30 fear(cost) even if you have all 100% mental resists debuff time will be close to 20-30 seconds,ofc don't forget about 10% landing chance even if you have 100000% resists

Ah, of course,all debuffs and it's funny. Even 2nd profession 7 lvl root from EE w/o rings can land on ppl with 2 rings (aq+baium), but the time will be 1-3 seconds. And about fear, again, i saw that mages feared cardis even with prahnah, considering that healers have high m.def (with prahnah and buffs it can be 5-6k) other debuffs can land too

I am not playing retail to see how this apply to actual gameplay, and I'm not referring to oly here, just mass PVP, but I suspect it's a real curse fest. I bet Vale Master book will sell really nice

Guys you dont want to play on a server that have exploits right? Give a few days or weeks for the staff to do their best, until you can empty your freight (to being sure that none of your mats will disappear), exp more if needed, prepare your toons for the Hi5, thats all. If any news will hit the board, we will have informations, like we had always from staff, Michael, Lagys or Shabaka.

There's no promise in your sig bro. Don't expect H5 this month imo, i doubt they can fix those retail exploits so fast. Better get used to playing it next month ... at the earliest.
