Dances/Songs Duration

Hey.

I don't know if this has been posted already but... did you ever think about raising the buff duration of dances/songs to, i dunno..., 20 or at least 10 minutes?

It gets really annoying while boxing with a BD and switch the client every 10th mob because dances are gone...

I hope that the general reception of this idea will be positive.

there is already an npc buffer in town kiu, a free one until 6x; and then one that costs silver coins for higher lv players.

Wow guys... like a request for a slight increase in dance/song duration would come ANY close to some random "omg add absolute easy mode to the game" begging.

I'm just asking to minimize an imo slight strain in the game, not for GMs to put everything in my inventory and ding me 85 instantly.

And if you disagree with someone, there are much more mature ways of doing that instead of lol-trolling around. You could actually bring arguments for example, too so that I may be convinced, that it's better the way it is now.

But yeah... I kinda see the next trolling-wave coming so whatever...

hmm welll ,what about the balance in PVP ?

if your bd/swm can do once disko per 10-20 min than they wont need recharge so they can use hell lot of other skils like agro/fear , also ee/se will be able to do more heals/recharge/mana burn to enemies , all this is afecting directly PVP .
Many battles are won because one of the sides is out of MP and no d/s mean dead for them .

So NO to this kind of unblanancing features .

Go back to your lol pvp servers with 24 hours buffs/disko/+129 weapons and armors .

Haha not only is it annoying, but you are also risking getting banned for using 3rd party software because our good GMs apparently never heard of the old good "macro" feature. You certainly wouldn't be first or last

This was actually the first reply that helped understanding the issue. Except for your last sentence. I play L2 on private servers since C1 (with breaks in between) but I never played on your so-called "lol pvp servers with 24 hours buffs/disko/+129 weapons and armors", but yeah... flame on.

We thought and did the very same thing, got banned anyway. Apparently, they are paid for quantity, not quality.

song/dance duration doesnt effect pvp, its all about cost. since there are so many canceling classes in this server version, any average sws/bd will be regularly re buffing their party. aggression costs zero mp to use, and arrest costs only 34 mp. i wont speak about psycho or sword symphony in open pvp because they are low lv skills and costs a ridiculous amount of mp to use.

if you get banned it is for another reason then what i have described above.

Ok well good that I didn't triple-box already. So let me get this straight before I get banned for doing sth. bad that I wasn't aware of.

Example:
I have 3 clients running. 1 SH, 1 BD and 1 SE. BD and SE follow the SH. All in party. I play the SH and kill the mobs while my other 2 chars only get the xp and run behind my main. When out of Dances/out of mana I sit down with my SH and switch over to the BD and SE and rebuff/recharge.

Is that allowed?

If you mean the ingame macros, they'll do whatever you put in those 12 lines of commands you have there and they will be executed after you trigger the macro. e.g., they will dance all dances you put in there and will follow you main you have /attack there and will leave the party you have /leave at the end. you still have to accept the party manually a press the associated shortcut, of course.

I played on a private server called ROFAL2 back in the days and after that it were L2Hobby and L2Extreme low Rate (maybe someone still knows them). Dances were 10 minutes as I can recall, so I never had it any other way.

Macros, of course I heard of them. But I never saw a greater use for them than trade-shouting. Yeah they can make you 1-click all dances and stuff, but well... guess I'm the type of guy who does things manually more often.
