Totaly Unfair Ban

We have been banned on 20.08.2010 in about 8:30am GMT +2 by GM AlexUS for multiboxing and this is unfair!!! At my home i have modem with wireless connection 1 PC and 1 laptop. I was playing on PC with 3 clients (JoanOfArc, Annyhilator & C4m) and my sister was on laptop with Myrtle. When we get ported i try to talk with GM to explain him this but he didnt respond and he left the game. I understand that on IP check the PC and laptop will be with same IP's but when you track LAN card serial number you will see that they are different. If you want video prove my skype is "Icoshimo".

Its not multibox its just 2 computers in home and 2 persons that play so we can have 6 clients right (3 clients per person\computer) we had 4 !!!

I agree with Icoshimo, his issue should be checked.
I have my PC and notebook with same IP. I will start 4 clients and get ban aswell? thats unfair

there is allways ways to show how many PC`s u have in home. Verry simple to show screens from Mac`s of lan cards. And idea about how many family members are playing.. i wont even comment it.

As far as i remember it was always interpreted as 3 clients per live person plus trade bots. There was never any restriction to IPs.

Actually, if there are 5 boxes from the same IP, GMs should check if there is only 1 active person using them, or if there are 2. I mean, let's say I invite some friend to my house and he brings his notebook. I am farming with my character and my friend is in the same party as me, let's say I'm a Doombringer, spamming Rush Impact + Violent Temper to mobs and that kind of stuff, while my friend is using a dagger, getting to the back to each mob to land Backstab and such stuff. GMs should check if they are really 2 persons playing. If you want to put this kind of rules, you must make the tedious work of checking anything you think it's suspicious carefully. Same applies to bots and anything else,

The rule is maximum 3 clients per ONE person/cat/dog/etc. The gm that banned you most probably came to the conclusion that the chars are controlled by 1 person, after watching you and/or testing you somehow.

Most probably Shabaka was the one that banned you, so please contact him on icq and prove him that he was wrong. If you're right, he will unban you. We are more or less reasonable people.
