S80 and S84 cloaks critical errors

I know it was mentioned on the forum, but the fix given here doesn't work for me - the game just doesn't start. Moreover the size of file given (armorgrp.dat) is only 114 KB, whereas normal one's is 340 KB which makes kinda a big difference ;o

Additionally it had to be a temporary solution, and serious fix "was coming" and haven't came till almost 4 months

Any soltions? ;f

Normal GF client without another patches never has this error

Tbh I think that it happens because of hardware because I use normal GF client with only ur updates. Moreover I copied exactly that client to another computers and cloak errors happen only on that one.  I also heard that it was retail problem too. I wonder if u could make armorgrp.dat with no cloak models again (updated for rpg club purposes, I mean updates that happened till last 4 months).

On my PTS euro GF client i never has errors with cloaks.

i see cloaks and never had a single crit error. mb you need to use the pts client and not the normal one like he said.

I can see cloaks ingame. The error occurs only when switching sets (f.e. from dc light to vesper light with cloak) including my char and others. It makes going on oly almost impossible because I get crashed in almost every fight ;/ Yes, maybe I need PTS client.

I use epilogue client and I occasionally do crit error. LF link to a client that works plz

As I can see, it is not only my problem, so I would be grateful if staff here could find any working solution. I found the same types of crit errors I get on other forums. These are russian forums so I may not understand it well, but admins here for sure won't have any problems.

I saw that rpgupdater downloaded a file called "armorgrp_cloak.dat". I assume it is fix I changed name to armorgrp.dat and added an exception to file update list. I am testing it now, till that moment no cloak models and no crashes as well. Thx for fix.

Sadly, I have to report that u missed some type of cloak (Knight's Cloak or Ancient Cloak, I guess it may be Kinght's one) so they are still visible and crit errors still happen. I hope u can add these one.

//EDIT - I can see cloaks on some TH's, so probably some cloak - light armor exclusive is missing.

got epilogue client and gracia final client

I crit error with both, patch doesn't work on both. When I put the file in my system folder, loading the client just fails.

What the fuck am I supposed to do?

i am with gracia final 2.3 client, no extra patches; and most times on cloak equip the client is crashing.

i installed this patch linked on this thread and for most cloaks it is working, and i experienced no client problems with equipping cloak or client crashing on launch after installing the patch.

however, some cloaks i can still see ingame; haven't noticed yet if they are still causing crashes.

edit: i check on the classes mentioned above from that the cloak patch was not making any changes with, and it appears all cloaks are OFFLINE and no client errors when mass spam cloak ONLINE.

I just downloaded a clean gracia final client, updated using RPG updater and put the cloak patch in my system folder.

Still can't load up a client.

The patch given here is working for me, client loads like it should, but like I said Knight's Cloaks were missing. The previous patch made by Szabaka in March wasn't working, I couldn't even load the client.
