EN [x30] future - IMPORTANT

Dear players!

As a result of force majeure circumstances EN [x30] game database was lost.
Last backup we have is of 10 April 2010 (almost 1.5 month old).
There are two possible solutions to this awfully unpleasant situation:

1) We make 1.5 month rollback, compensating IG all donations made after 10 April 2010.

2) We close EN [x30] server, moving all chars to Infinity [x8], and open new ~x15 x5-like server in September 2010

It's up to you to choose the lesser of two evils (

P.S. For other PRG-club players' information: database backups on other RPG-club servers are made every day.

What about all the effort ppl put on in the last month and half? Screwed up totally?
There was few new clans also that started and now they wont even have the chars. It means you can already close the server and open a new one, NOW, with a decent rate and with something that will make ppl less pissed off.

curious how it all seemed to work just fine before the downtime, like they couldn't make the backup before taking it down for maintenance.

I'm just wondering what has exaclty happened because such explanations are not sufficient for people who spend much time in those last few weeks and lost everything one day.

As someone already pointed out there were a few fresh clans who started in this time and their chars won't even exist now - I am one of those peope.

I would suggest to wipe and start over the same setup but with x15 ASAP - tommorow or today even, why wait ?
Maybe you can get some people to stay this way and some new to come, otherwise it's just a waste of anyone's time, because such thing very rarely happens on any server and it doesn't convince anyone to join one.
