no its not an antivirus related problem. i got this shit right after i updated my windows 7. i didnt changed anything in my antivirus so i doubt its related to that.... sockets mby?

I have windows 7 and my boyfriend have Windows XP... We have same problem

stop using auto updater , just delete updater and use the l2 exe , i used l2 on XP , vista and win7 without using any anti virus and works perfectly

reinstall l2 , fresh one , and i can send u my system , i think it will solve the problem

i dont think so since ive done all that. reinstalled l2, download new patch from rpg site and still getting the same sh1t

u dont need to use autoupdater but these problems are with libraries from .net framework, try to download and install newest.

damn.. i logged out.. wanted to log in after some time and same error appeared. i tried to patch another client and it happened again. it says that my L2 stopped working becouse some L2rupdater_csharp, so looks like we have some problems with updater?

I added itemname-ru.dat and weapongrp.dat to the exceptions list and it solved it... for now

There's a button on the top right corner of the updater that lets you change its settings. Click on the plus sign and it will generate a new file, change the file name to "system/itemname-ru.dat" click on the plus sign again and change its name to "system/weapongrp.dat". That should do it.
