chat ban for 999 min is how much ??

i am first for respect rules but  server is new is it better to frst  say to player dont do that  and if he   do this  again then ban .. much better than ban  instant without warnning ?

That's all to the appreciation of that respective GM. If he thinks that player deserves or needs an extra chance or an warning before hand then sure np. BUT he can also chat ban directly, it's not his problem that that player didn't read the rules.
Might look tough, but u better get used to it and prepare to suffer the consequences if you break the rules.

as i say before server is young dont chase players for ignorance admins have to be patient to this act of his cost server 50 $ from me now i dont wanna donate coz of this and trust me lots of ppl with chat bans on start will do same

Actually, no. Because of trade bots, macros, clickers, and stupid people, which just happens to count as 99.9% of the server.

They won't learn their lesson with 120 minutes IMO.

Today during my pve i saw two lithuanian clans flaming each other with such a pathetic flames that i'm ashamed to be from same country, So i honestly rather read that endless spam, even in russian (yes fagots, don't understand a shit? get atleast basics on language) than read "you suck, idiot go kill yourself, go fuck you dead granpa" and similar things from those mentaly damaged idiots that imagine they are gods. So i say this rule is one of most retarded things on server and i suggest removing it along with trade bot that actualy was the real reason for  this rule to appear. Once again for those idiots that say "omg international server write english only" who said that international means english only? if it's international it means ppl can write any language they want. It's up to them when choosing a way to comunicate even if that way limits their chances of doing some things in game.

Relax, that´s OK guys... I got on another server 21,3 KK minutes chatban for shout trade (it´s about 40 years real life)   So you can be happy if you got 999(9)  

And a point? I´ll never use shout chat for my trades anymore... maybe you will be reformed too

sorry, but almost everyone is using the "all" (general) chat for Trade ... so why didnt you chat ban all then ? ... i've got the 9999 minutes ban and now can't do anything, pm, normal chat, find some party ... ! ( seriously ... like 75% is using the all chat and jut 25% use the Trade chat ... so either, give all chat ban for 9999 who use the general chat ... (will be then a DEAD server .. or rather dead silent one ...) or allow to do it normaly ... thanks, good noght ...

Look, ban everyone who use the shout chat for trade is impossible, but there is some detterent element for others. And i don´t think that server will be DEAD for this thing    Yes, trade in shout isn´t so big offence, but it´s out of accord with server rules and everyone must accept it... In future, you won´t use shout for trade, true? So that´s THE POINT...

seriously, 9999 minutes ? 6.94 days ?! so almost 1 whole week of chat ban ? in game time ?! ....
for a casual player of L2 (about 2-3 hours a day playing) thats like 66 days of Real Life time ... (when he has the char just logged on for those 2-3 hours a day) ...

ok i admit, the rules say not to use the normal chat .. i get it ... but why are then there still like 1000 people using it and not chat banned and they spam, like 4times in 2 seconds the same trade ... however i just did it once a minute maximum ...

well ok, i dont care  ....  i just hope that everyone will be treated the same + put it max on 999 minutes and not 9999 minutes please ! thanks .... good luck !

I understand that it has to be severe to stop people doing (even though people are just doing !=== wtb items or whatever), but 7 REAL LIFE days is really too much. Anyone who enters the server without reading the rules and doesn't see GM message and tries to do what he normally does on most servers will have 7 days of real-life game time destroyed which is horrible for new players who require communication.

999 real life minutes or 9999 in-game minutes, not 9999 real-life minutes...
