Basically someone is sending lots of random spam to the server that is hosting RPG, which causes it to crash/have insane lag

Option 1: Buying a CISCO system firewall
Option 2: Increase connection to 10GB
Option 3: Loggin the traffic and report it to the authorities

we know the problem but do you know the solution because people who know something about ddos knows that it's almost impossible to block it if  the attacker really wants the server down

Hopefully, it will be solved as soon as possible. After that you should be able to play again without limitations and we can start working on less important stuff to improve the server.
