Dear friends!


It's time to announce RPG-club "Russia" traditional annual contest
New Year Contest - "Year of Water Dragon"

As always we prepeared a number of categories for everyone to show their talent!
This year we have selected all of those categories, in which players have always participated with much enthusiasm.

1. For poets - Happy New Year, Russia!
Format: New Year congratulatory poem, addressed to the RPG-Club "Russia" and all its players.

2. For publicists - Why RPG-club?
Write a review on the project, tell us why you chose the RPG-club "Russia".
Best entries will be posted on our website.
Format: 150-300 kind words about the project

3. For writers - Ice Queen Legend
Your version of the legend about the key character from the new Chronicles - The Ice Queen Freya!
Format: fiction story of 500-700 words, based on IG events and legends.

4. For artists - New Year Card
In this category you are invited to create a New Year card "Russia - Year of Water Dragon".
The main requirement - the presence in it of a symbol of the New Year - Water Dragon - as well as the RPG Club logo .

5. For everyone- Masquerade
You are invited to make your character look like some famous fairy tale or fiction, movie, cartoon or video game hero with the help of items existing IG. And to make a screenshot of it which will be your contest enrtry. (You may create a character on test server for this.)
Main requirements:
   1. The image of the impersonated character should easily identifiable.
   2. You can only use what exists in the game (objects, interiors, etc.). It is forbidden to use collages or  add someting in graphics editors.
   3. Abstract images of knights, elves, dwarves, etc. will be automatically removed from the contest.

6. For moviemakers - New Year Show
Format: holiday IG video with New Year's story.


Contest rules
1. All entries must be emailed to [email protected] before 31 December 2011.
2. Include category and your forums nick in message title (ex: 1_Alice)
3. All entries will be published on forums after the winners are unveiled.
4. The number of entries from one participant is not limited.
5. The list of received entries will be published in this topic once a week.
6. Entries may be disqualified because of plagiarism or inappropriate format.

All winners will receive:

1. RB weapon at choice:

   

   

   

2. Agation Seal or Mounting Bracelet at choice
3. Any headdress at choice

The number of winners is not limited!
ALL participants will receive recognition gifts!

One question for category 4 is expected we to draw/make/design our own Water Dragon Symbol or can we take 1 from the web? It will be rly hard, and also takes long time to design our own Symbol...

You just have to put the symbol inside it (they gave it)

Hello there from Greece and Happy New Year:)

I joined rpg-club 2 days ago. Deadline was to send mail before 31st December , and i already had my entries ready on 30th but server went down and forum too i couldn't see the exact mail address to send my entries. I already sent them to you today morning as soon as forum went up and i was able to check the topic again :S

Can u plz tell me if u got my mails? And if my entries can be accepted due to the server and forum downtime?

Well it's really unfair cause Russians made their poems in russian wich is their main language, much easyer to choose the words and make them rhym, we had to make them in a foreign language, english....if i could make a poem in portuguese ofc it would sound much better, it's not that easy to make things rhym in another language, but ok....happy for participate anyway!

Just think that all entries should have been in english even from russian players or at least pick 1 non-russian player for win the contest, dont care whom but pick 1 that u think that had the best poem in english, just for the effort of making something in foreign!
