:)

I had the exact same problem and sadly I couldn't fix it.

Maro79

Well no.
I have system on this SSD for 3-4 months or more and i started comp yesterday and it freezed on win startup.
I haven`t got this kind of freeze before.

I don`t remember my comp specification - i`m at work now.

I remeber i have Gigabyte motherboard, Powerup is Tagan, 1 GB graphic card Asus, 4 GB ram - SSD OCZ 60 GB,

1st check power/signal cables if problem will be somewhere else, try to run system in safe mode.
:)

Maro79

I checked power and signal cables and they seems to work ok, i will try to start  in safe mode today and if this won`t work i will try to use Hirens boot CD program - even though i don`t know now how it works but will read some help and if this won`t help i will reinstal system and will check - myabe it will help.

Well, if the connectors are ok, and if system will load in safe mode then we will simple check if there are softn or hardware problems.

OCZ has highest failrate of SSDs, 2.9% has to be sent back, might have gotten a bad one.

Maro79

Hmmm. So i will have to look for warranty for disk.
Is ther any way to format this disc ?? Cause i have might have something which is not legal 100% :)

Y, just run new installation of OS, install system, it might be working, inworst scenario try to update firmware but only if u have no more warranty for this disc
:)

Maro79

Well now my schedule looks like that :

1) Safe mode Win
2) Boot program
3) Instal or repair Win 7 from DVD
4) take computer to specialist to check how make it work.

Can't u just reinstall the system? If you say it starts in safe mode, then a system reinstall would be best in my opinion.

darkflame

Try a chkdsk in Safe Mode, else try a Hardware Independent Restore and install the storage controller (else your system bluescreen while booting the system). As last option try to reinstall the OS and if it still doesn't work then some hardware components are broken.

Banning Bots is bad and killing whole familys. =(

Who the hell uses an SSD hard drive on his PC... ?

Anyway...

Have you tried to restore your system yet ? If not then go safe mode and restore it to it's configuration before you got the problem, and to be even more sure add a week's period to the restoration date beforehand, as a precaution. And get yourself a damn antivirus, they're cheap as hell nowadays. Licensed NOD 32 should do the trick, cleans a lot of pesky critters for me.

If these don't work, format and re-install the OS and you're good to go. Of course, if this doesn't work either then it's possible you've got a nasty virus that screws with your HDD's booting sequence (i had a similar case not too long ago), to which your best bet is to wipe your HDD's partitions, basically clear it, repartition it, re-install the OS and you should be good to go.

1st of all, check it its load system in safe mode, we dont know if its fully working yet, mby soft is semi dead.
:)

cuddy

Try to make chekdisk that may solve the problem. Booted os run ok? So it's 90% ur os.

Yea better play with intel pentium 4 and 512 ram right? aoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoao

Sirius92

Did you have TRIMM enabled ?

Take care with some people recommendations, do a research for your exact SSD before you try to use any tool or do anything with your drive or you might end up fucking it completly.

nice playing. But what for u put that pvps with randoms\g3w in movie?
for the same reason i put OOC there.

Maro79

Well i tried to go to safe mode - F8 doesn`t work - on win 7 i never was doing safe mode so maybe the key has been changed but i doubt it.
I also put WIN7 dvd and make frist boot device DVD and i had the same situation - freeze on WIN loading screen.

I start to lose hope abut me and computer - i think i will have to take comp to service so they will check what is wrong.

50c

u have another hdd with OS installed? run pt with both of disc, and try to format this ssd disc from os
:)

Maro79

I have second SATA HDD, but no OS installed there.

Addi

Then mount it and install Windows on it, then see what's up with the SSD from the SATA one. If you still can't see anything, then i suggest you simply format it and be done with things already...
