My understanding is that with him gone we only have 1 bot hunter for the entire network, so what ressurance can you give that solid anti bot measures will be put into place. What do you also have to say about paying a sum of money to be unbanned, is that option also going to be available for the 5x? Because it's pretty fucking gay to tell the truth for all the legit players.

I really really hope they will get a half decent antibot protection until new 5x starts and u should pm Alice or Shabaka with that link. I'm sure they will forward the info to admin. Lets hope he will do something about it.

That's right, There will always be way to bot, There is no complete 100% protection from it.

But, at least we can try.

Lets take the azure for example, it did had a good bot/dual boxing protection, it wasn't 100% secure, but it not every noob could of just go to google and download plug&play walker version.
If they wanted to bot, they needed to do some work on it, if i remember correctly there was something in the l2.exe so they had to disable the dll.

Azure probably did have some bots, but it was 10 out of 100. Which is not 0 out of 100, but not bad.
Since here at rpg we have 10 not bots out of 100, and those 10 probably just to lazy use google.. or dont know how (LOL)

So, we do need an bot protection, there will be way to bot surly. But at least then, they would deserved their way to boating by actually doing something by cracking or finding the way how instead just google it up or even download bot from "files" trade bot.

It's like the dual box question , if it's possible most ppl will use it... But botting is far worse. It's not ruining just game experience of the botter but it's pissing legit players too. So imo bot protection ftw or ppl will lost interest in this server.

Problem then is you will have a lot of bots and less real players and nobody will pay the server bills

Hopefully we will get better bot (3rd pt programs) protection. Having gm's bot hunting is nice and all but an antibot is always better. I'll ask about this in the sticky and hopefully, we will get a positive answer about it.

Is not about that, its about i suffered it on retail, and believe me, is boring as hell. If serves goes w/o protection i can play both servers at same time, cuz no live activity on rpg until lvl 80+
