Since you mentioned this subject, does anyone have any idea how would an overclocked i5 2500k (@4.5GHz for example) handle l2? Just as a curiosity.

of course it shows how good the cpu is -- ssd gives you fast ports, but the high framerate in the video is caused by the fast cpu...

I have c2d 8400 and i've oc'ed it to 3.6GHz. It's doing the job decently, but i think it's time for an upgrade. Some of those towns were not empty at all but to satisfy you, here is one video made right here, on RPG : )

As you can see, he still gets some chocking in Aden when moving the camera at high speeds, but when looking around slowly the game is extremely smooth. On my C2D i get 10-15 fps in Aden : '(. And his 2500k is not even oc'ed, those beasts can be easily overclocked to 4.5 and even 5GHz on air.

i miss the days where i could fraps mass pvps on my old 512 mb ram Dell family PC =/ nowadays with my semi decent computer I can only manage small scale pvp =/

L2 like frequency so an OC'ed CPU will allways bring u more fps, I5 2500k, phenom 955 these are very good cpus to OC
