Actually it's kinda ironical .. I mean on Celes and especially Aerith , they used to call it "skill" to be able to kill 2 non-valored medium-equipped parties with 1 pt stacked with  boss sets and heroes.

Now i heard they are loosing 5 pts vs 2 and they are crying rivers about the gear gap.

oly style is for varka solo gankers.
in daily pvp we can kill more than 70% of existing parties. But we'r outgeared in oly. So oly based statistic still sux

i agree to an extent but open pvp is way different too, especially some classes, you need to constantly been changing targets spamming pots kiting ect. ect. where as in oly its all about timing. and using right skill sequences (not to mention gera and skill OE's) you feel me nigga

not really. Its not about who omgwtfpwn every1 in oly but you can see how the person uses char etc. You don not have to win to show that you can use your char. Tell me, why using 150 water hd, having same gear as most other zerkers i was losing only with escort(back in 1st month, when his draco was :O) and dago when he geared through 4 months of oly when they`ve been further with skill enchants/gear than me?  (i can recall only 1 lose against random zerker i guess it was this cmo??, some russian, only random that was intelligent enough to use my obvious mistake) Including babble to those who can use the char properly rest usually fail @ this char true story. Simply because many of the ones who claim to be pvp pr0s fail when it comes to 5 baffs no cp pots and using brain, not only assisting/targeting healers first. And that applies to all classes.

And me personaly hmm... i am playing in mass pvp or small pvp in same style as in oly.   so i dont think what zook said is true much.. maybe from 30%. When u playing char with 1258 skills  some cp pots and hp pots are not problem to use also

Olympiad never shows the real "skill" of a Player, not even classbased Olympiad. I knew alot people that were beats in Olympiad on old servers, but they were total failures in open fights/Mass PvP. Another thing is, you don't have to pick proper targets in Olympiad ...
