Server upgrade?

2959 people on and there is SS lag but it is a looooooooooooooooooooooooot less then before. I hited an npc with haste2 for 2 minutes and there were moments when i did 10 out of 10 hits with shots and moments when i did 5 out of 10.
I didn't do more then 2 consecutive hits without shots.

This is a definite improvement, no question about it. But i expected this SS lag at 4k or even 3.5k not 3k online. Anyway, im still very thankfull for this upgrade and hopefully, sometime in the future, we will get an even better SQL server so that we can play with 4k+ on without item lags. Hopefully ...

The count on the website is fake at the moment. There are programs to check the real player on the Server, so almost nothing changed.

Bartz is the first Server on the list afaik and it shows 800 player online. Mostly all the Player on the Servers are x2 on the Website.

Edit: The Server had like 2200-2300 Player online before it went down for the Server Upgrade. You actually believe like 700 new people would start here in less than 3 Hours and at late european time? Serious dude get a clue.

1st u dont know if that page is outdated or not.

2nd those pages count ip conections linked to servers. (So they dont count multiple connections of the same ip to server)

And yea many ppl was waiting the server with no lag to come again

Yeah, but retards like vaiper899 actually believe such counter. Anyway there is almost no improvement compare to the lags some days/weeks ago. I would like to know what Hardware the Server is using and what they upgraded (like it's an problem ...).

I had a feeling that count on site was not true. Jumping from 2.3k to 3k in one day sounds very fishy to me. Any admin going to comment on this? Did u guys do any update at all?

I believe that the counter on the site counts all chars online while that other doesnt... around 40-50% boxes seems accurate.

It's simple, connecting to the server with l2net makes you see the true online count, server is sending a packet wich contains the information about all active characters inside the game, if you look on the website you can easly see that its 2x more then in rl. Hardware update didnt change anything still with 1.4k u get ss lagged like shit.

What page tard? its a fucking program that shows the real conexions, before that  "upgrade" the counter was usually x2, after today the count is almost x3. If you are a fail of the nature at least shut up

Just what i wanted to say. It's 10:40 AM GMT+2 and there's 1808 online. Who the hell are they trying to fool? 3k last night MAYBE looked reasonable as it was rush hours but now? 1.8k? The hell... At least we know what kind of hardware we play on if it lags like sh1t with 1.5k online.
