Report : Maybe some security problem ?

So I've been hacked yesterday by a guy , he got all my emails and password , everything but fortunately he knew me from an old server and didn't get in my stuff in game .
So my question is ..how ? what ? when ?
I had avast with license , up to date also had a tweaking program ( tune up utilities ) also windows 7 and I haven't received any attacks lately I asked him and he said its more complicated something to do with opened ports ( is this even possible? I had 2 ports forwarded ever since i played w3 a long time ago to be able to host games ).
I don't visit strange or random website and I don't click bad links I'm not that dumb I have a little experience on the internet.

I asked him if I'm the only one he infected with the keylogger or whatever he was using and he said no so be careful I still have no idea how i got infected..

I formated all the partitions , changed router password , changed IP , installed a better antivirus changed all the passwords and than i realized what he said about ports and I remembered I had 2 ports forwarded in order to host w3 games ( was that the vulnerability ? )
