Cannot retrieve password

I changed my password last night, and this morning, it does not work, i went into my email, and copy/pasted the password they sent, into the website to login but couldnt. I tried to use the password recovery, but it wouldnt send an email, a friend tried to recover their own password aswell, but did not get any email. i know im using the correct email, because i received my new password ( i tried all my old passwords aswell.)

I'm just noticing now that the site has "technical downtime" so mabey thats why i cannot retrieve my password, but doesnt explain why my pass didnt change yesterday.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
