Banned for using Battle ping?

Right now i got message on load screen about ilegall action, blablablablabla together with 1 more person from my pt only 2 of us were using battleping and after server reconnected like 5-10 times on todays barakiel both of us got message that our account is suspended so wtf is this?

Me too this is ridiculous. I just checked ban list and it says my account was banned for "100500 trade-bots x15." At the time I was exping, and the char listed is a checker I live at bosses. I was connected to battleping germany 2 server when it happened.

I hope the admins know they just banned a whole lot of people that were using a proxy and had nothing to do with "trade-bots". Can you please look into this right away?

This same situation here..
i was on barakiel when i get dc...
when i try log i read about acc suspended..
on site i read about banned for 100500 x15 trade bots...
wtf ;/

And I know this is what happened becauswe I had 3 accoutns logged in, 2 on my PC connected to battleping, and one on my laptop which was not. The one that was not on battleping did not get banned.

GMs please check into this matter. Here is the info it says in the ban list:

Hmmmm...my account is banned to. Why cause I use trade bots? This is not illegal as I know. Please fix this. I've worked like 3 weeks for this char day and night and I'm still poor lol.

If you had trade-bots it's probably because you didn't have login delay enabled, then they went all IPs associated with that. Since they started unbanning chars already it'll probably be reverted for everyone.

Most likely it has nothing to do with battleping directly.

Yes. At least it's ok that they are banning ppl:) I was afraid that people may use hacks big time without being banned. Now since you get ban for trade-bots I think there is a great chance for the big hackers to be banned. Anyway tbh, I ve never used walker in my L2 experience, but here there is no other option for offline shop.

I've never even used this trade bot yet i got banned for using it ^^ so i guess its some kind of bug with battleping and server protection.
