Theres like an L2 curse with server launches. They NEVER EVER EVER open when admins say. I guess I thought RPG was different, but I see the quality is the same. Sad. But w/e, well play tomorrow, just pathetic theyve had months to do this and it happens on the day the server opens. That just shows bad administration. Gz

ofc gms have a life lol, since when a gm is nolifing to make a l2 server? they had more than 2 months to make it right, is that hard to keep checking the server stats to prevent such situations like that? dont think so.

How can it be called incompetence when the drive died out of nowhere, completelly unexpected (that's official version). You think they knew it's gonna die today so they could prepare for that 2 months ago? Wonder how they could be prepared for random issue like that. One day isn't a big deal, go back to azure days and their problems with drives/datacenter, they needed weeks to get it straight.

since it isnt the first time that they got this kind of problem with hardware, for sure this can be called incompetence

Tell me what would you do in that case. SSD/HDD suddenly died during the night, you're far far away from datacenter, go find solution. I'm curious, propose something.

Even new official servers cant handle more than 7k online (stable) so i doubt any priv can, maybe its better with delay to avoid another, another.. and oh another server fail when every1 from 10k ppl trying to log in.

You just don't get that this issue is random, unpredictable and has nothing to do with datacenter or RPG admins. It's not like moving servers to diffrent DC, 100km in any direction would solve it or prevent from happening. After all, it's just one of the most sensitive and used (in that case) piece of hardware that simply failed at worst possible time, that's all.
