I'm sure they knew that SSD drive gonna die 15th at 00:30AM so they could tell players a month before to get free day at tuesday, doh. Think about it.

I don't know of any other way of making you believe bust JUST one simple question:

What would RPG have to gain by delaying the server start? Nothing but bad reputation, correct? If so, do you think any of us in the staff of RPG is retarded to do this at will? Use your head for a couple of seconds, it's really not that hard. And about the problem, let's just assume that this isn't the problem, does it make any difference in the world for you that you don't know what the real problem is? It's clear the server start needs to be delayed, we aren't stupid to disrespect our community on purpose.

As we are important for you, the same or even more you are important for us. If i or anyone from RPG staff would have any super or magic powers, we would make sure you get the maximum quality. But since that isn't the case, you will have to settle with our best, although some times we have no influence in what happens. I don't know what else to tell you, i did everything humanly possible.

And i repeat again, the problem, the real one, is exactly the one announced by Alice. I have to go now, so please behave.

0.30 - SSD disk died
1.30 - they know it and master go to check
1.30 - 2.30 - master work with it, do restart few times, after write that SSD die
They change disk immediately.
And for this time they install and configure OS   and still dont do it.

So they do not have raid and if new drive stops working, we lose all?

I think they can run a day without backup and put new drive into raid for backup when it arrives. Think about it.

Starting it when it's fixed, is not a very good idea. A lot of people would then cry that they didn't knew when the start took place, thus having a real reason to cry that "ruski fucked them up".

People cry all the time, you announced that server starts at 15nov 17gtm0, so imo you should open it as soon is it fixed, Lots of ppl are waiting for it and don't care if it opens 4h later. Any option you will choose ppl will cry, then why not choose the option where less ppl cry? This server is made from user opinions, then make a official poll and let users decide.

There are many diffrent RAID levels. Usually, for that type of server admins choose the one that boost speed but you lose data even if one drive in RAID gets damaged.

btw,

is indeed irresponsible, to say that a few hours of starting.
But they are humans so they can make mistakes.
I know that many people took days off from work but you must understand that the GMS have life / work that they are losing valuable time as you to fix the problem.
