People in the ETC clan were talking in Hero chat about how they broke several S grade by trying to over-up it. You're going to sit here and tell me that only RW abused this? I think it's a bit too much of a coincidence that people in your clan had all of this S grade to throw away from attempts to OE during a raid boss respawn bug.

This is how I think it went down;

ETC abuses raids. Doesn't really tell anyone, figures why should we? This is great. RW shows up. Now RW knows of the respawning too. ETC does not like the idea of RW catching up to them by abusing the same bug, I mean hell. ETC is already ahead, right? Don't need this shit! Report bug on the forums, repeatedly accuse RW of abusing the bug but of course deny any actual involvement themselves.

ETC looks like some kind of server hero in exchange for RW looking like the bad guys. Please.

You're right, punishers should be punished, but you might want to think twice before you ask GM's to check logs because I'm sure they'll find all sorts of goodies to butcher both clans.

Not to be the big conspiracy theorist here but get real. It doesn't add up when a clan of people find a bug like this, hasn't been reported before, and be saints about it and report it and never abuse it. It's not really within human nature.

But this doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished in any way. For example, the ones who abused barakiel respawn should have their nobless status removed, and start the quest all over again. The ones who abused epics should have the epic drops deleted (only the epic jwls, don't think anyone would cry for some extra A/S items when they're so easy to make. I say this just to make admin's job easier, less to search) and get a few days forced "break". Lets say 3 or maybe 5 days.

ETC had no prior knowledge of this bug, the whole server found out pretty fast. i mean it's not like you can try to cover it up when a RB respawns immediately after dying. Obviously everyone noticed when a second Baium and Queen Ant spawned, but other epics (Valakas, Antharas, Frintezza) were not even up when this bug occured so we couldn't have exploited if we wanted to. Jacky didnt encourage us to abuse any RB respawns, infact we even delayed our Frintezza raid which had spawned legitimately a while before this even started just t be sure we were within the rules.
The majority of ETC groups dont even raid random RBs anymore simply because it's not worthwhile. Most of us have plenty of S weapons and Armor and so we dont need to abuse this bug. No doubt players server-wide attempted to over enchant stuff when the server lagged, people have been trying this for years and it probably doesnt even make a difference. If it did affect your OE chances NCsoft would have prevented it a long time ago.  Also we're not so desperate for noblesse that we need to exploit and risk being banned.
Personally i'm not bothered about our enemies gaining a few more noblesse but as for AQ, that would be a major exploit.  And we all know if we were all permitted to exploit, you'd probably be on the floor in the nest watching us get our 300th AQ by now. The difference is we decided to respect the rules, and so IMO let the abusers be punished. If the rings are not deleted atleast then players will disregard any such rules in the future.

btw i wonder since I accidently exploited like 4 mark of watchman quest items thing, did anyone manage to get anything valuable for the lag? not that you'd admit of ofcourse

I didn't said not to punish them (ban them), just not permanent ban. I sure don't support cheating, i think it's the most retarded thing in this world. But i also don't support permanent bans. Just ban them for a period, give them time to think it through. And u should be glad they're catching up (even if by cheating), competition makes an online game fun. If there's no competition u might as well go play a single player rpg, i heard Dragon Age: Origins is quite nice
