Everything should be prevented , what's up with the bots lovin on a x15 server .
Strange fact is that legit l2 networks like L2kr/l2jp/ruoff are up and running when l2NA has 2 servers left.

using l2r/l2c doesnt make u pro. I know many players that never use these software and they are still good at pvp.
tbh only players that dont know how to pvp use these 'helpers' ..
Personally i use a simple cp spammer

If i would knew the perfect method to catch someone using ranger, i would do it with joy. Problem is, i don't think there is such a possibility. I don't know how they did there, on retail. It's not really that much in that thread. Just that some ppl got banned.

Anyway, atm there won't be a better protection on RPG. We will have to continue like we did until now, banning for what can be proved. If you remember the antibot that was added at beginning of 5x, it was pretty good but only a "beta" build. Well, the guy that made it got some problems that sadly, he didn't resolved until now. That's why work on it stopped. But sooner or later he will return to continue his work. It is also possible we will have someone else doing a custom protection, but not right at the moment. Right now admins of RPG are busy at work with, well, i suppose everyone knows by now with what : )

For now, just enjoy RPG and remember that time heals everything.

If you would see what some ppl do with "antibackstab" in oly and auto target bishop/ee in mass pvp without needing a macro you would claim different, it sucks to play like this tbh. That why i can say ok walker is a PvE and is about farming still not fer but ok it doesn't directly influence in PvP (it does in farming gear but in skill in pvp). Worst part on x5 there was no argue is that in use in Genocide/Afl it was a question who uses it more...

Guess it could be done the way Azure did it, by detecting those software while starting the client and killing them or refusing to start. It worked well back then, it might limit l2r/l2c usage here as well and shouldn't be hard enough to implement.

In this thread u have complete fix of cloaks problems, i mean the one given by dirtipipemlkshk, it just works perfectly. The only inconvinience is that u wont see cloaks textures, but u wont have any single crit caused by cloaks. U need to replace ur original armorgrp.dat file in system folder and add file to updater's file exception list.

And btw, the problem is not server side so i guess admins couldnt fix it.

It is fix since the problem are crit errors - with this patch u wont have crit errors. Admins wont offer anything better since they wont change ur OS, service pack etc, what prolly is the reason of crits.
