I was on the character Pookie on the 5x server, when i saw someone shouting "wts enchanted fenril fang fast 65kk"
so since i know that's the price it usually sells for on a lot of servers (i played arion, im new around) i decided to buy it

The user uzmir that was advertising the sale traded me and put the item, with 500+ p atk ( i looked , yes) in trade as i put my 65million adena; then he tried to bargain for 68kk, and we settled at 67kk, reopening the trade window

The second time I just saw the item had the same "shape/appearance" and did not check the P. atk and did not notice the full name had been changed to Enchanted Wolf Fang

that item he traded me is worth 4kk and I'm down in debt to my friends, unable to produce money without my wolf having a high weapon like the one I paid for equipped
I read the rules and saw scamming is not allowed
And yes it was silly of me not to check the 2nd trade, but I blame that on real life problems that were impairing me from paying full attention.
I am not used to being a scam victim every step of the way, as I hear happens a lot these days, I've played lineage2 since c1 and I noticed the game got "tough" and the crowd got bad, but I really hope you can help me with my issue and not just rule it out as a stupid mystake from my part.

The character (user) that scammed me(as I am sure he did to a lot of people) was called Uzmir and the trade took place at approximatly 15:15-15-25 (I think) GMT +2 (romanian time) (6th May 2010)

Replying to my own thread since nobody bothered to do so. Yay. I pmed a support team/gm whatever he is on ICQ and he told me this is not a scam (icq of AlexUS)... Telling me that if i contact support they will tell me the same thing.

So I am asking you now...what IS considered a scam then? If tricking people and taking advantage of their lack of full attention to A GAME..is not scamming ingame, what is?

a scam is a trick, someone taking advantage of another person not paying full attention, as im sure you know

In real life yes your rules would apply and this would be entirely my fault, but this is a game and you, as admins/gms , are protecting us from such people

if someone cursed on the street or if their mom named them "Whore" you wouldn't jail them...but online we look down on those people and ban/jailthem  ingame

I know life is unfair but this is a game, I really hope you decied to keep it as clean and fair as you can, that's all...And such blatant disrespect for the rules should be punished accordingly, otherwise rules are just made to  be broken

So am I getting a similar answer? Am I getting none? I have written to support two times now and nothing, I have tried to contact several GMs through ICQ, one of them which said I have a case and said it will prolly be solved and always got sent back to the support ticket/forum.

And still no official answer. I would really really like a full answer so I can put my mind at ease and go on. Thank you.

What's considered a scam on this server? Hmm? Being tricked by a fake trade?Paying for buffs that you didn't get? SCAMS ARE FORBIDDEN BY THE RULES yet your admins protects such players. I don't care bout the friggin adena or whatever, I just think you are some little -- that just cuz you don't understand ENGLISH you chose to say "not scam me no understand meng". Whatever srsly no support around, you chose to answer on ICQ instead of posting a full reply on forum and just lock topics. you're no better then dexternet with their lolsupport. Gz.

i am certainly sorry bout the attitude, that's how I get after 3days fishing for support and then gettin my topic locked and kids saying I "qq"... I just want people to respect the rules  , that's all. It's not bout adena/items or whatever hell. It's a game, I want it to be fair

that's not a scam since you have no proof.to prove something you need at least some screenshots,which you obviously didn't make since you didn't see the item switch.good luck
