We all know L2 players stay up late.  1-2 AM is more reasonable then 8-10 AM.

Another solution would be to make it a 4 hour olympiad instead of 6 hours. Therefore it will end at 11-12am for Euro.

for Europe where the server stand's the oly time is perfect  because it's already pushed away from the spot that oly normally goes . About cs they could push the first one a bit to the day but leave the second one the same witch would reduce the time between castle sieges . Because if you push cs's more into the night if a person would have a chanse to go out he couldn't because of cs . And i don't know why are you crying as i remember in one server witch we all know but i can't mention it's name because it's forbidden fortresses was at 5 am for euros and none cared

p.s olympiad was made longer so NA ppl could go to oly because it normally would end even 2 hours earlier

Pretty true, I bet nearly half the server's oly players are from NA timezones, while people that don't want the change will never in step foot in the olympiad.

so it was perfect when euros had to go to oly from 10 pm to 2 am every day, manor was at 11 pm and siegeable ch's at 4-5 am at weekends on azure but it sux here and is not fair... u must really think world revolves around your ass.

As I said before, it is easier for L2 players to stay up late, then to get up early.

Agree, but the only reasonable change i see is it to push it forward a few hours. Right now it starts at  6 pm gmt+1 (russia time) so i guess +2 or +3 hours would make it manageable for everyone. I don't think more then this is possible.

Edit: i'll propose it to them unless some people from some odd timezone in middle of pacific come and cry that it will be too late or too in the morning for them.

For all those who are GMT+1,GMT+2 (MNT,PL,RO,etc..) that would be like 9 pm,10 pm and then 6 hours of oly o.O? So to wait for 2, 3 am for oly to finish? Is better as Cj2000 said move it earlier 2 hours that would be for Russia 4 pm and for most of europe ok, and still good for USA ppl.

Having it 6 to 11am for usa would make it 3 to 8 pm for euro (gmt+2). That's not good for anyone imo, acceptable for euro but hellish for us. US ppl would have to wake up earlier, do oly for half, maybe 1h, then leave to school/work. That's not a good idea at all. Only solution is to move it a few hours later but even so ...

You should go ahead and quit with the elitist attitude. I'm in the NA timezone but even I'm not so bold to say that it's mostly only us American's (and Canadian's I guess ) who play L2 seriously enough to Olympiad. Considering the fact that it is indeed mostly European's who play this server (and L2 in general, if I'm honest), it is outrageous to sit here and say that Olympiad is mostly NA people and always will be throughout this server's lifespan.

As much as I think 8AM is ridiculous for NA people, especially because I'm bias and only get home from work at around 10AM~, we must consider the people in the other timezones equally to be fair. That said, due to the complication of this particular issue, I don't really have any solid input. I'm choiceless, the decision is going to be a difficult one.

oly is at 8 am and like cj said players stay up late for oly but waking up at 8 am is just absurd.

hours are just fine the way they are for me right now. they would also be fine 2 hours later.

what is not fine is the fact that on other server no one gave a dam about euros and their play time possibilities. however the euro server should give a dam about na players. that's just bull what makes the na players more important than eu ones they qq more ?? imo that's not enough to change the hours.

there's gonna be someone qqing about this either way you put it. so there's no real win win scenario.
