Banning people on false charges ? :S

The night of wednesday to morning of thursday myself and 2 of my friends (xvipes and alr4dyexists) accompanied by two boxes (ee - zrecharge and pp-putanakitoukosmo), were framing at ketra for molars.

Due to the composition of the party (2 supports ,2 meelee dd's and 1 spellsinger) we were all following the spellsinger cause he kills the mobs much faster (the 2 meelee were just leeching molars most of the time /follow),every one of the dd's were logged in from different computers and being played individually only the buffers where boxed (2clients,2clients and 1).

While we were farming we got disconnected and couldn't login getting the message "account suspended".
Now we might have been looking like "bots" for a while (4 chars following 1) but we were not using then or ever any 3d party proggramms to automate gameplay(aka bots).Whoever took this action to "ban" us is/was mistaken and didn't get his facts straight nor tried to whisper/pm us to see if we are active.

We all posted petitions/tickets and all the answers we got were like "bot advertising" , we didn't bot ourselves nor did we advertise anything (in fact we dispise those spam bots).

In conclusion this is not just a ban appeal or a "cry" post , we just want a clear explanation and/or any kind of proof you might have of us doing something "illegal" , regardless of the outcome/impact this will have on our game accounts.
It just seems so unfair and unjustified banning people like that especially since you ruin the game for us and our group of friends (around 15 more people) that just started playing here about 1 month ago ONLY because this server seemed more organised and cared for than all the previous we've tried.

Eh , as they stated above they did use the support/ticket function (i did too since they are my friends) and the answer they got was just "bot advertising" , as i understand they are asking for something more and/or any proof there might be as to what they did wrong :S

How can we prove that?We just got dc and after that we got the very nice message that we were banned.
We can't take screenshots everytime we go for xp.
But there is no proof that we were botting also cause we DIDNT

All i can say is that faulse bot ban is bad for the server and for our nerve system too ^^

MichaelV pls give us some help here to solve this issue.We don't want to just get unban, but mostly to get an answer of how the gms thought we were botting cause faulse bot ban can be made again if a gm thinks that following a person means that he is botting....

I have to confirm what's stated above... i know personally both of them and i can confirm that they've been always legit... We'd like more specific info about the cause of the ban.... there is no way on earth that those two were advertising anything at all or doing anything wrong in general.

It's a fine policy to ban people that dont go by the rules.But when someone does somethingthat isn't supposed to be legal
and therefor get banned, you have to justify the reason. I also am a friend of them guys tha got banned, and was about to join their XP party.. Would i get banned aswell without reason. Or would you send me a replying email on the ticket i'd open with the exact same bannable offense i would be guilty for? "Bot advertising"

Anyway i'd like to be assured that this wasn't just random and that you'll show some evidence of the bannable offense they commited. If not, it would be nice to know that i'd be playing with my friends again and their old characters which i helped to "evolve" aswell. It's ridicullus to have this fear now that i'd get banned aswell for nothing:s

It's papaditsa1 account.
Other accounts were banned for the same IP (xvipes , kosmo555) or similar login (papaditsa, kosmo556).

The ban was given for advertising bot software on shout in game. Other accounts were banned for same IP or similar login.

The same ip you are referring to comes from a local INTERNET Cafe , they are pretty common in greece and lots of people play from them sharing the same ip :S
Although at the time xvipes/kosmo where not from the same ip (we were playing from our homes) i can see how you made this connection but many more accounts on this server login from that particular net cafe -on the server- everyday , would you just ban them too for one guy that decide to do something that stupid?

Anyway , it seems we where misguided aswel and didn't know what alr4dy exists was doing (since i don't really have a maxcheaters account i can't see what's goin on in that post you posted)
but we had no part in it , our only wrong doing was grouping with this guy at ketra :S

Now i am sure that if you check you will see that at the time we were NOT logged in from the same ip address , anyway this seems like a just and fair ban for alr4dyexists and his box zrecharge and i guess the other 3 acounts (kosmo,xvipes and putanakitoukosmo) were caught up in it cause of the same netcafe we play from (but not at that given time) so we couldn't really know what was goin on :S

Anyway , if you can find it fair to unban mine (kosmo / putanakitoukosmo and xvipes) accounts we'd be glad but that's up to you , what we wanted the most was the reason for the ban in the first place and it seems there is one , just make sure no more accounts are caught up in it since these ip's really belong to an internet cafe :S

It's good to know that at least gm's are actually taking their time for manners like these. I also logged plenty of times from the same internet cafe and have to admint that i got a bit nervous about being banned for the same reason.

It's very common in "alive" forums such as this one, to often have retarded posts like yours.. Why even "bother" replying in manners that don't concern you in general? YOU didn't get banned like my friends that open this thread for a certain reason.. As my friend Tromparifas mentioned on much earlier post, Mongoloid posts like yours can't be avoided.. YOU too have a purpose in this thread.. To show people how to flame ,or start a flaming section and mislead people who read this thread from the real cause it first was posted;)

First i'd like to thank the Moderator and the GMs that investigate this issue.Thats why this server is a good one because the management is active and help his players.

On topic i can only say that banning players that come from the same ip isn't always the best solution because things like that happens.Lots of people play lineage from the same internet cafe and almost all the internet cafe have one ip to all the computers.

By banning with only the ip as a criteria is wrong because you don't know what kind of persons log in the server and noone can be responsible and always check who does what on every computer that logs in the server from the net cafe.
We(Xvipes and kosmo) where the unlucky ones that you guys caught, but i can assure you that about 10 more people log in from the same ip to this server and with your way they should be banned too.

It was a big miss understanding and i know that you will do the right thing.But even if you don't wan to unban Xvipes and Kosmo i'd say to be more careful the next time so more people don't get banned because of some stupid guy that wants to ruin the game.

And consider that right now a few people might get advantage from that and go to an internet cafe and start spamming a random bot thread and make you start banning every person that logged from this ip.

I don't want to bother you more, the case is closed for me and the only thing left is for you to decide whether to unban us or not
