Yes.There is a way you can manage to switch off SS glow from specific ,some or all weapons off,though it must be done from 1 file in system,when i get some time i'll make you one and upload it , with ALL weaps ss glow OFF if you want.

Open options... you can turn off some things like showing nicknames etc.. I do this on Castle Sieges.
