Account hack:)

Hi my account was hacked today, even though no one had my account and Ip filter(site +game) was activated.


Account name: Dreamed

last login: last night, after restart, although clannies told me someone logged my char today around 2PM Gmt+0. How can this be possible?

Is IP filter useless? I mean if you know the password of somone's account, you basically can change the IP filter....

I've tried to send a recovery pass to my email, but didnt receive any email. probably that one was changed too. Weird stuff....

I also have an alt that was hacked, although I can log it on site, but cant log it in game. The adena is still there. However, I cant log my main on site, so dont know if I miss something.

Curiously my other accounts(same email) are intact, even though I have adena on them.


Well...I think you got the point. Waiting for solutions.

Some basic rulles so you wont get hacked:
1. Never click on an .exe file  (except from trusted sites ) - aka keylogger
2. Never show your email on forums, social networks, etc
3. Never say your real name on forums, social networks, etc
4. Never say your real birthday on forums, social networks, etc
5. Never SHARE acc with nobody, even if u have an CP, ppl will get gready
6. Get a GOOD antivirus updated every day.
7.Scan your open ports , and see what;s wrong.
This way you will almost never get hacked.

P.S the IP filter is good just in the case you dont have acces to the email, if you have access to the email then it;s all over.

at default ip filter for website is disabled, configure properly ip filter on website for ingame allowed ip's and website allowed ip's this method you can allow ppl to use ur account but block them from changing the password on website or removing ip filter entries. Its your fault that you did not configure ip filter properly.

you're clueless , i was hacked too , you have NO IDEA how easy it is to hack someone , go ahead and install 3 anti-viruses you can still get hacked.

On my account happend the same, i left my char for trading online, got a dc and logged in just some minutes ago, my char was at a little different place, and clanmates told me that it was logged in. Kinda wierd. Changed my pw and my mail's pw too. Didn't clicked any exe, have a legit antivir + firewall (hardware) + ip filter (wich sucks when i have a dynamic ip). Nothing is missing, but it's really weird...

update:

My login logs shows me that noone else got logged in with my account. Maybe we got some little rollback and thats why our chars wasn't there where we left?
