mixing reagents - pure silver

i have 1lunargent and 1quicksilver and im chosing salmander to make it for pure sulver, and after all it says you failed and cant mix it, so whats wrong there?

Take the quest you need this Pure Silver for. Made the same mistake and got the same error.
