Updater doesn't work

Hello guys. im havving biiig trouble with updater as soon as i want to start the updater i get an error:

Windows couldn't complete the requested changes

The parameter is incorrect

error code 0x80070057

tell me how to solve this problem.

this error occurs when i try to launch the updater on my pc with windows 8.1
I tried to dawnload the patch but i still need to launch the game through the updater which again (doesn't work)
and if i try to launch the game through the system, i get this error:

I believe this is a Windows 8.1 issue only. Run the windows update center, that should fix the problem.

You can also try removing your system folder and running the updater.

In general, with such issues is better to contact the support
