Nuke Augment

I've seen several ppl with nice nuke augments, and I don't have one
I've used a ton of stones, normal, mid, high, top 76/80 and got useless augments for my class.
As u can see i'm a dc 82 and looking for prominence augment i wanted to ask if there are any tips for this...

like if u get better rate success if u do the augmentation in the same level of the stone or if the class has something to do with the kind of augmentation u get.

i am gk 85 and trying to get what i wanted i've had both wind and fire nuke agu..

You are just unlucky, there is no tips to get a nuke augment, try 800+ LS
Btw if u use Life Stones 82/84 your nuke will be better (same power but less chance to fail on opponent)

It`s like OE skill

Also if u use the ls at the same lvl of the character higher chance for active skill, ie use ls lvl 76 on sub lvl 76 if u want to get some nuke.

Its the same power for 76/80/82/84 but as Pel8 explained it, its like OE skill, your nuke will faill less from LS 84 on high level opponent than with LS 76

i used tons of LSs on my AM for nuke augment and nothing
i used ONE LS on my BBH and got Prominence :/

its just random luck, keep on augmenting

/fail moar. OF COURSE there is a difference between nuke from LS 76 and LS 80 tho there's no difference in skill lvl/skill power.

btw looking for info on nuke augments in later chronicles, i read somewhere that lvl 76+ nukes get "leveled" so to speak with the character, meaning for example that if you get a nuke from a 76 stone and you're 85, the nuke will be 85 aswell, anyone knows if its true?

Skill effect intensity caps with a level 76 stone, but the level bonus that affects its land rate continues to level with the stone.  By intensity I am referring to the effect or duration of the debuff.  For example Surrender to Fire level 1 adds -10 fire resist to the target, while surrender to fire level 3 adds -30 fire resist.  However further levels of surrender to fire do not increase the -fire resist because the intensity of the skill is maxed, but the higher levels of the skill land more on high level monsters.

Eg. Given an Active: Paralysis augment effect:

Level 46 stone = Paralysis Effect 1, Skill Level bonus 46
Level 49 stone = Paralysis Effect 2, Skill Level bonus 49
Level 52 stone = Paralysis Effect 3, Skill Level bonus 52
Level 55 stone = Paralysis Effect 4, Skill Level bonus 55
Level 58 stone = Paralysis Effect 5, Skill Level bonus 58
Level 61 stone = Paralysis Effect 6, Skill Level bonus 61
Level 64 stone = Paralysis Effect 7, Skill Level bonus 64
Level 67 stone = Paralysis Effect 8, Skill Level bonus 67
Level 70 stone = Paralysis Effect 9, Skill Level bonus 70
Level 76 stone = Paralysis Effect 10, Skill Level bonus 76

To put things into perspective with equivalent 2nd job player skills:

L76 Paralysis Augment is like Anchor +1
L80 Paralysis Augment is like Anchor +13
L82 Paralysis Augment is like Anchor +19
L84 Paralysis Augment is like Anchor +25

As you see, skills level bonus depends on stone's level, that depends on character level, so in some way you are right!
