To be honest, the chronicle isn't the most important thing. L2 is especially about community... if it's good, you will have a good playing experience too. I don't think the reasons why so many people dream about bringing the old GF times back are only the features which the chronicle provides. I'm not saying that it's absolutely irrelevant, but just remember how the L2 community complained when Interlude came out... and then after the release of Kamael and Hellbound everyone said that they wanted Interlude back, because it was the best chronicle, and so on...

I think a lot of international players left the server because they were frustrated and disappointed. Motherland has been advertised as an international server, but in fact it is a Russian server with few international clans... about 95% of the player base is Russian-speaking. I have few reasons to think that x3 is not international, the nationality of its players is not the only reason:
Firstly, there is only small support for international players. Moderators at the forum do a good job, but GMs don't. There is maybe 1 English speaking GM (?), so everything takes a long time and some tickets or issues are not solved at all. We get only few information about news and not every in-game announcement is translated. It just makes you feel unwelcome.
Also 2 different forums make the mutual interaction difficult for both sides. As a player who doesn't speak Russian I have no clue what's going on among Russian players. I know that if the forums were merged, there would be a Russian section... but I believe that a lot of Russian players would find their way into the international section too. The international forum is dead right now.
So, if you really want an international server, you should make the server more attractive for non-Russian-speaking people.

You don't have to agree with me. The post I wrote is just my point of view as an international player. But if you want to accuse me of stupidity, I would like to hear more relevant arguments, for example what exactly you disagree with and why.

Pokud stále někoho hledáte, rád bych se přidal. Vůbec bych neměl nic proti tomu jet aktiv supporta (nejlépe SWS, ale ani BD by mi nevadilo), případně nějakou jinou partě prospěšnou postavu. I čas hraní by mi docela vyhovoval.

Three weeks ago during the Territory wars I was unable to log on with 3 boxes. I guess the restrictions don't depend on the hour, but rather on the number of players present in the game world. I estimate that it becomes active when there are more than 8000-9000 characters in game (which happens only during castle sieges and territory wars, of course).

Guide

Dear players!

Today I have prepared a guide for the "Seductive Whisper" quest. This quest is great for everyone who wants to exp on undead monsters in the Aden territory and earn some special money and enchant scrolls. The quest is quite easy and repeatable, so you can do it unlimited times.


1. To start this quest, you have to go to the Town of Aden and visit Blacksmith Wilbert in the blacksmith shop.


2. He tells you to hunt undead monsters in various locations near Aden to collect "Spirit Beads" from them (at least 50).


3. The drop rate is about 40%, but most monsters are only 1x HP or 1/2x HP, so it takes just few minutes to collect all the necessary quest items. You can collect the items in these locations:

The Cemetery recommended level 50 - 60 (teleport from the Aden Gatekeeper to "Seal of Shillien")



4. If you play solo, I recommend you to go to the Cemetery (50+) or the Fields of Massacre (58+). In the Ancient Battleground (60+), all the monsters are in groups of 5, so for a single person it might be difficult to kill them. On the other hand, if you are in a party or have good AoE damage, you can farm Spirit Beads there, because it is faster than killing mobs one by one. Especially warlords, destroyers or small parties may find this place great.

5. When you collect 50 Spirit Beads, you can return to the blacksmith shop and play a game with Wilbert (a gamble game!). The game has up to 8 rounds and costs 50 Spirit Beads per one game. The higher round you get in, the better reward you can receive. But be aware! If you lose a round, you get nothing. At the end of each round you can decide whether to continue or stop and receive your reward.

How to play?

1. First of all you have to click on "I want to play." (Requires 50 Spirit Beads).


2. Then you draw a card.


3. After you, Wilbert is on his turn with drawing his card.


4. Now you can see if you won the round or not. If you won, you can continue to another round or grab you reward and quit the game. If you lost, you can challenge Wilbert again (you play the game from the start - costs 50 Spirit Beads).


5. If you don't feel good about playing the real game yet, you can try to practice it for 1 Spirit Bead. The principle of the game is the same, you just don't get the final rewards when you win (you get only 800 adena for winning a round).


The list of rewards:

1 winning round: 120 000 adena
2 winning rounds: 240 000 adena
3 winning rounds: 330 000 adena + 1 EWD
4 winning rounds: 597 000 adena + 1 EWC
5 winning rounds: 1 164 000 adena + 1 random B-grade weapon recipe (60%)
6 winning rounds: 2 025 000 adena + 1 random material for a B-grade weapon
7 winning rounds: 3 852 000 adena + 2 EWB + 2 EAB
8 winning rounds: 7 152 000 adena + 1 EWA + 2 EAA
(note: all adena rewards have been recalculated according to the server quest money multiplier)

As you can see, the rewards from higher rounds are pretty good for a 50+ level quest. On the other hand, the chance to win all 8 rounds isn't very high.

Pro nově příchozí hráče, kteří by se rádi připojili k československé komunitě na serveru x3 Motherland, jsem vytvořil přehled CZ/SK klanů, které zde působí. Tímto chci zároveň poprosit všechny clan leadery nově vznikajících klanů (a klanů, které zde nejsou uvedeny), aby mi posílali základní info o nich přes soukromou zprávu na fóru nebo mailem ve hře. Rád je zde doplním.
Budu se snažit tento topic aktualizovat alespoň jednou do měsíce, tak mě prosím neukamenujte, když nějaký clan level nebo clan leader nebude zrovna aktuální.

Všichni leadeři výše uvedených klanů byli požádáni ingame o doplnění informací. Jelikož byla odezva téměř nulová, nemohu doplnit podrobnosti do poznámek ke všem klanům. Pokud se zde najde někdo, kdo ví jak to v daných klanech funguje (např. člen), a byl by ochoten nějaké základní informace poskytnout, nechť mě kontaktuje.

Leadery klanů neuvedených v seznamu prosím, aby mě kontaktovali ingame na nick Padris (PM nebo mail) a nebo zprávou tady na fóru. Vše doplníme.

Nejsi sám I online počítadlo serveru je zaseklé, takže předpokládám, že spadl celý login server.

Server jede přibližně tři měsíce, takže si myslím, že určitě v nějaké výrazné nevýhodě oproti ostatním nebudeš. Raidy a kamaloky se skládají i na nízkých lvlech, není problém sehnat partu na expení, na serveru funguje několik CZ/SK klanů, co rádi pomohou,... proč to nezkusit?

Zajímavým indikátorem rozjetého serveru mohou být například enchanty. Na webu RPG-clubu je žebříček top enchant itemů na serveru, a zatím jich je více než +10 pouze třicet, z čehož je velká část (odhadem více než polovina) nižší grade než S. Vím, že tohle hledisko je dost subjektivní, ale to že je zatím pro tak velkou populaci pouze několik overenchantnutých itemů vypovída o tom, že tam neběhá hromada hráčů v naplusovaným gearu a ostatním nedá prostor.
