Other lives, Fourth episode

- What is your name? – asked my companion in a soft velvety voice .
- I do not remember...
I was embarrassed, surprised and confused. In the training room were young neophytes, beginners adherents of the cult of Shilen, young warriors. Besides the dark elves, flipping the pages of textbooks and listening to the advice of mentors, there were several humans, dwarves, orcs, one light elf and one-winged Kamael.
- Indasi? – with doubt asked me archer. I looked at her cold gray eyes; tense silence hunging. She hesitantly peered into my face, obviously noticing similarities with someone of close friends.
But I knew her! These cunning eyes, white hair in a ponytail, sharp eyebrows and sly grin. Of course! Shai, little sister.
I just blinked and thread, tying me up with this girl, instantly broke. I did not feel her brother, and the names were erased from the memory. I definitely was someone else, though, the possibility to live this life captivatingly struggled in my soul. I regretfully shook my head. The elf smiled by corners of her lips, lowered her eyes and went back to her business.
- Valdtar, buddy! Is that you? – cried one of the humens. And I felt another alien memories and hand reflexively reached for the dagger. But I did not want to be unscrupulous killer, whose skin I just proved.
- No, that's not him. I distinctly remember faces of my debtors, – said the stocky dwarf, and I gasped with relief.
- Maybe you are Kevell? – rang the silvery voice of the light elf, and it took my breath away. So delicate, fragile, defenseless, graceful. I wanted to take her in my arms and shelter from the cruelty of this world. And even better - from my own cruelty.
Already stuck in new experience, I was subjected to another test.
- Tris, - said someone's calm, soft but confident voice. In the center of the room stood another beautiful dark elf, she smiled at me, but her eyes were alert and waiting. – Tris, so you were always called by friends. You ... Do you remember me? – tt this moment, her eyes faded, and her shoulders slumped.
That I did not recognize her was a heavy blow, and I sincerely wanted to be that Tris. But another part of me rebelled again; like from the side, I watched this elf with Tetrarch already dragging me into a dark room, to shove me into someone's memories. Interesting, of course, what person they could revive in me. But I drove this daze, and it melted like a thin, transparent and vague dream.
Rejecting this game, I saw bitter tears in the eyes of the dark elf. She sharply turned away and left the room briskly. At this moment, I suddenly felt a warm hand on my arm - oracle sought my eyes. Only she noticed that there was something incredible and inexplicable.
- Tonnar,– boomed the confident voice Shilen's priestess. – Enough wandering through strange destinies. Come, pray to the Mother and accept your fate as a great gift. You can not run forever!

I ran up the steps of the temple toward the pale sunlight.
Already at the top, on the threshold of adventure, I finally looked back at the statue. Dark goddess, like a spider, frozen, spread her hands. I felt like a hatchling, who clings to the goddess, as to the mother, because she was the first thing I saw, realizing myself. And even though I apparently did not look like a child, my mind was clean and pristine, like new white sheet.
Breathing in deeply the fresh air, I made the first step, leaving the stone vaults. Many hours I wandered aimlessly through  Shilen's Garden. According to the map, it was called that way. While the sun rolled over the horizon, giving way to the moon, I was listening to the birds sing, crows shout and keltirs yap. With the moon there was another globe in the sky, bloody red with a strange, very clear symbol.
While I was thinking, what kind of a celestial body it was, a dark elf ran past me. Following him, I found that a huge rock near which I circled for hours had an entrance. Here it is, the abode of the dark elves. That's where I headed.
Near the entrance to the cave there were two Wardens, blindfolded the same as the statue before, and a man in robes.
- Welcome, - he said to me. – You seem to shake ... If you need advice, please contact any of our Guild Helpers. We are happy to help you get started in this world.
- It turns out that it is perfectly normal that I do not remember anything? - I was surprised. - And what's more, I'm not the only one? What kind of world is this? - Something did not fit. From what incubator did I fall out? Or what teleport did I fell into? This place didn't look like underworld either.
- To begin, think carefully about your goal, - the elf changed the topic. - Now it is very perilous situation due to war in Human kingdom. But in this chaos, we must not miss the chance. While Humans are at war, we, the dark elves, can take advantage of it and return to our former glory. But everything has its time. First you need to get used to the weapons and armor. Practice, killing wolves and foxes in the area, after get comfortable in the town. Yes, and talk to the master of martial arts.
- I'll take him there, – I did not notice a dark elven woman appear close to me. She gently smiled at me, took my arm and pulled me. I obediently followed. – What weapons do you prefer? – she asked as we walked down the twisted tunnel.
- I do not understand myself. And you must be a magician? – I asked, because she was wearing a robe, and  a small rod hung on her belt.
- Oracle - casually said the elf and dragged me down the road, between the elegant shops and houses.
The city was very beautiful, though gloomy. Mesmerized by the charming smile of my guide, I did not notice as we entered the room. There was quite a lot of young dark elves and a few other races.
- What's your name? - asked my companion, when we stopped in front of a richly dressed mentor.
- I do not remember, - with these words, I noticed that the room became quiet. And then from all sides, all those present began to offer names, hoping to appeal to my memory.

To be continued ...

And before we continue the story, let's help our hero to remember his name.
It will look almost like a role-playing game on forums. Try on the role of the surrounding characters, describe their emotions, offer names suitable for a representative of the dark elves.

Interactive Story / First Blood, Second episode

I hit the horned beast from the back, my movement was quite quick and confident. Silly beast in response to this did not die, but only turned to me its great, blind head.
«Tenacious, bastard» - I was surprised and made hesitant step back.
Drawl screaming gremlin jumped in my direction. His massive paw with long sharp claws somehow passed my face, and the edge of a blade softly ripped his round belly.
I was just amazed how my hands, as if themselves, without requiring my participation, deftly wielded dagger, and how easily and carelessly my body moved. Already feeling myself an invincible God, I suddenly missed a kick of a clawed paw. Incredible pain shot through my left shoulder, a muddy veil fell on my eyes. And then my body completely automatically committed a series of blows to the accompaniment of the groaning gremlin. No sooner had the heart beat twice, it was all over: my opponent issued a shrill howl dying and heavily settled on the cold floor of the temple of Shilen.
The name of the Dark Goddess on my lips , I wiped the knife on the hip and suddenly felt an incredible surge of strength. My wounds miraculously disappeared. Only fresh blood on the clothing testified to the fact that these wounds were actually.
I was distracted from thinking about this wonderful fact by that very blue gem, which suddenly rolled out with a cheerful tinkle of my feet.

- Fine, you did well – summed up the priestess sarcastically squinting and handed me a package. – This is your reward, as promised. Do not make such a surprised face, you're a disgrace to our people.
- What is it? – I looked up from the package, which turned out to be several hundred transparent capsules filled with something smoky. These things have surprised me, perhaps even more than the name of the Goddess emerging in my empty head and magical healing of wounds.
- These are soulshots – through laughter replied the dark elf. – They are used with weapons, making blows deadlier. Just do not spend them in vain, they are disposable.
- Go to the town of the dark elves, boy. – Addressed me an old man standing nearby, stroking his long pointed beard. – There you will find a mentor, he will teach you all you need and will answer many of your questions. Tell him that you came from Hierarch Mitraell.
- Thank you. – I answered with all the same unfamiliar voice. – And how I find a way there?
- Take it. – Oracle handed me a book and a folded card. – Just get out of the temple, there will be a straight road. And then map is still useful, your path will be very long. – Her face was no longer even a hint of fun, gaze was serious and piercing. – Live as if every day is your last. This is my main wish.

Interactive Story / Awakening, First episode

I hear a noise outside, I distinguish the voices clearer and I feel cool.
All these feelings seem utterly unfamiliar, strange, bleak and annoying compared to perfect calmness, in which I have just stayed.
I feel like my eyebrows frown at the thought, the forehead winces in displeasure, and my lips curl. Every cell in my body wakes up, shaking, convulsing, sucking me into the vortex of increasingly strange feeling.
I feel my eyes open, I emerge from perfect and empty darkness. The world around is slowly taking shape, I discern the dark stone walls, high ceiling and a giant snake-like six-armed figure. Perfect being, taken prisoner, bound in chains, blind, squirming, great, imperious and at the same time completely helpless. Moment of weakness and despair, immortalized in stone under the arches of the ancient temple.
- Hey ... - my consternation interrupted by a woman's voice. - Where do you come from?
My eyes immediately found the source of the voice. "What a beauty" - the thought flashed through my mind, and the hand has firmly gripped the handle of the dagger, which she handed to me. "Elf" - I suggested, looking at her blue-ashen skin, elongated ears, white as milk hair and languid glance from beneath lowered lashes. "Dark" - I summed up, weighing all the facts that struck me, and my head was spinning when I looked at my own hands.
- However, - she said - it does not matter.See these nasty gremlins? Some of them stole my blue gem. Give it to me, I will reward you.
- Fine, - said a completely unknown voice, belonging, however, to me. Putting a strand of black hair behind my long ear, I hastily went to my first dark matter.

P.S. And what true facts you can bring about this statue? And about the one in whose honor it was created?
