first: that tutorial is different than this one; second: that is RPG x15, not the same server afterall. I posted tutorials on 15x and I am not repeating the topics anyway.

Hello everyone, my ingame name is Lyana and this will be the 1st part of a guide i've decided to write. If you have any question or remark about it, you can always leave your message here or by private message.

Soul Crystals are used to put a special ability [SA] into your weapon (except dual-sword and dual-dagger weapons, which get their special ability by enchanting to +4).

There are 3 kind of soul crystals: blue, red and green ones. You should choose one of this 3 colors, depending on the special ability you want.

You can buy soul crystals up to level 10 in Giran's Luxury Shop and, in order to level it to higher levels, you have to accept the quest "Enhance your weapon". You can start it in Giran (NPC Jurek, Magic Guild), Oren (NPC: Gideon,Dark Elf Guild) or Aden (NPC Winonin, Mage Guild). Once you have accepted the quest, remember to delete the soul crystal level 0 you receive, because you can ONLY have ONE soul crystal in your inventory in order for it to level.
Once the quest is accepted, you can go to Giran and buy your soul crystal level 10 (remember to get color you need for your SA)

Here is a list I've created of weapons (grade S and upper) with the right color of Soul Crystal you need, for each of their special abilities:

A Soul Crystal can only be leveled one level at a time (from 10 to 11; from 11 to 12, etc). On a second tutorial, I'll explain the leveling process, and which Raidbosses will level your Soul Crystals, depending on their level.

To be continued...

Just so ppl will save some time: you don't need to speak with the NPCs before killing the 7 mobs! You can go directly to the places they are in, and kill them, get the quest item and then go speak with the NPCs.

You'll save tons of time :P

There's ppl spamming the other sections with much more crap than this. At least here, we might learn something :D

you just need to put a sentence on that tutorial saying that she respawns in night time (in game), so ppl just have to /time to see if she's there or not.

Good job tho! =)

there's always gonna be ppl trying to tell you that this or that is copied from somewhere. Ofc that when we do a tutorial we gotta use images or information from other websites, otherwise, we would make tutorials full of mistakes.

Really nice tutorial, and usefull :P I was one of the people that didn't know much about this quest :P Thanks!

Welcome!

As part of one of the few international clans actually big enough to do something, i'm happy there are more international clans starting on the server.  It's been a bit hard for us to find a decent international community around, since the server is mainly russian/with russian clans.

I played on L2Cerberus aswell (Random Clan) and i hope that you manage to level your clan and find decent members online, so we increase the english speakers around here :D

See you around =)

Guides / Subclass Skills
April 26, 2013, 03:55:37 AM
Subclass skills

There are 2 ways of getting subclasses:

1- Fate's Whisper Quest (From Reorin, East Oren)

2- Becoming nobles by Territory Wars (120 badges from the same territory needed)

Before starting your very first subclass, have in mind that, depending on the class, you will be able to get some skills out of it. So check the skills of each group of classes before doing your subclasses. Also, make sure you do the "More than meets the eye" quest, which you start in Hardins Private Academy, NPC: Hardin. The quest is fast and easy and needed to learn the certification skills.

Each subclass will give you a skill 4 times: at level 65 (Emergent Skill), level 70 (Emergent Skill), level 75 (Class specific or Master Skill) and level 80 (Divine Transformation).

To obtain the certificates, speak with the grand master of your subclass. You will be able to obtain them only after reaching the level of the certification you want to obtain. Once with it, change to your main class, and speak with NPC Avant-Garde, in Ivory Tower (Human 2nd Floor) to learn the skill.

You can remove all your certification skills by speaking with Avant-Gard as well, but you will have to pay 10,000,000 adena. You can obtain the certification from the same subclass after deleting them. But don't forget that certain skills are unique to certain classes.

Here's a list of skills you can obtain:

Group of L2 classes:

At level 80, you will be able to learn a transformation. Transformations are permanent. They last 30 minutes and have a reuse of 4 hours. Each group of classes has its own transformation and they all have different skills. From all the 7 Divine Transformations, I'd say that the most useful is the Divine Healer. The Divine Healer has a skill similar to Sublime Self Sacrifice: Sacrifice your life, recovers HP and MP of all party members; which can be really useful in many situations. Of course that I'd suggest classes like BD, SWS and maybe the Buffer the have it and not the healers since it won't recover its own HP/MP.

I hope you find this tutorial usefull!

Hum.. Its something already if you feel like you should care more. In my case, i don't watch tv at all, but i read the news everyday online. I have the most known media websites from my country on my bookmarks and i just open them all and read the news from there.

You don't need to open all the news and just read them all, but at least reading the small introduction that most of the times say it all. So I know that there was an explosion in Boston, protests in Venezuela, Thatcher's funeral and that Obama doesn't believe that North Korea will use the nuclear bombs against South Korea. Most of these news, i didn't actually opened them. When i feel curious about something (like i wanted to know how British ppl felt about Thatcher's death), I google it, or i open the news :P

In my case, i like to know what's happening around and discuss it, create and discuss opinions... Hope i helped xD
