Has the work on server connection been stopped?
Its been quite a while since the server is stable but its still nowhere near as smooth as it used to be on 5x/15x and first few days of 3x.
At the moment best case scenario is 0.5 to 1 sec delay and its pretty game breaking. Some ppl think im crazy but those ppl just never played on a server with close to 0 delay to compare the current situation.

Just want to make sure I understand the whole situation correctly.

So first few days of the server it was running so smooth it felt like it moved before i even clicked. Couldnt get any better.
Then DDOS started. In order to stop the DDOS you had to get rid of the perfect connection and 'everyone' started loosing packets and having high pings to the proxy servers. I personally have been lagging dcing and delaying already over a week.

So I have two questions that I guess most ppl would like to know the answer to:
1. If you keep this DDOS protection is it possible to achieve the smooth connection from the first few days.
2. If the answer to the first question is no, are you planning on keeping the current DDOS protection or go back to the old routing and try to figure a new way to protect the server?

How about that solo kamaloka? Can u make a video going there kill some see the rewards? Also from the same pathfinder npc u can teleport to a place thats like rift maybe try to enter some of those see what its like... =)

++ What about the new recommend system and nevits blessing and stuff?

Just consider that the 0:0 point is the top left of ur screen, the rest is just guessing the numbers i guess. It really didnt take me too long for the time and nerves it saves to have it all where I wanted
ps:Im still having a hard time with the pet status bar...it seems to aways stay under my target status bar nomatter how i set it. :S

Just as hellion said, mobs agro whatever is super low lvl even if its a character and not a pet.

Hello there, ever since i logged on to the game this morning i have been having some weird delays every once in a while.
Its not nonstop lag it runs fine for 10 min then starts delaying for 1-2 sometimes even 10 seconds. It would do that for 2-3 mins then goes back to normal, and repeats all over again.
Didnt think its serious until now, started freezing for minutes and getting disconnected. Whats even more strange is that when i lag on one of my l2 clients my box is working just fine and sometimes my box will start lagging and disconnecting while my main is running ok. Checked my connection seems fine when connecting to websites and other hosts. Asked other ppl they most of them said they are fine some said they had the same small delays but for only a while and they are ok now.

Well you gotta understand them too, some people dont have even that little juice in their heads u cant sue them for that.
Simply summoning the npc at like 10 locations all over the map will do it im sure. All those ppl who dont get how the quest actually works probably dont even know how to check the forum so they wont even know. They basically just follow the blue shiny arrow that the quest gives and thats where they end up.

Is it possible that a gm summons the dead corpse npc thats outside of giran somewhere else so people can actually do it ?

I dont think theres any info about chat position in the windowsinfo.ini
I move it every time I log dont really know if theres a way to set the chat window.

Nothing you can do about that. Its not a client side modification. The server has the npc dialog texts. I dont really find it bad to have both versions. This way you can learn russian and russians can learn english! x

All I really did was as follows:
Removed read only,
Double clicked the windowsinfo.ini
Changed coordinates,
Clicked the 'X' then 'Save'
Put read only back on,
Start l2.exe

Dont forget to make the file read-only after u make the changes manually!
Thats right click the file - > properties -> check Read only.

He didnt really say it works he said it should work. And basically it would make sense to work that way, but it didnt for me either.
The information for the skillbar is indeed in windowinfo.ini but changing the position ingame doesnt seem to apply changes to all the coordinates in the file. I just tried to manually change the coordinates and put the file back in read-only mode. The skill bar is now always at the spot where i want it to be every time i start l2.
So im running l2 at 1920x1080 resolution and those are the coordinates for my skill bar position:

Started here with a bunch of friends but unfortunately things didnt work out. The server is great tho and im not planning on quitting so here i am looking for you.
Im in S grade trying to get some work done on HB quests but its not easy doing that on my own and ppl rarely wanna group with randoms at this place.
Speaking fluent english, using vent is not a problem.
Playing this bloody game for 5 years and soloing just never felt so bad!
Wondering if ppl look for tanks outside the "laba" world.
