As the thread title says, suggest an alternative for PayPal if you know any. Keep it civil, thank you!

+1 for MB. I've using MB for about 3 years and have no problems with it. My friend using it too.
It supports many of small countries and have accounts in many banks, so it is simple to add or withdraw money.

why is the currency on CZK? just saw payments are automatic.

Are you sure the prices are not off from moneybookers site? with 100 USD it's only 1416 RUR. yet on liqpay with 100 usd it's 2164.

pretty weird lol.

there it says 11 CZK = 1 RUR. when that is actually 0,65 cents of a dollar. on liqpay it's 0,05 cents of a dollar per.

Oh, and paypal is out of the question, it's not possible. That's why this thread exists.

are you gonna fix the currency on money per RUR on this moneybookers thing?

It's pretty off, 11 CZK = 0.61 cents FROM A USD, for 1 RUR.

why just dont make Partnership with offgamers to sell "RPG silver coins cards/serials (r)" or "RPG-CLUB credits" on offgamers.com?

So we buy the cards/serials from offgamers, lets see, we buy item "RPG 200 silver coins card"  we pay as we want to offgamers (they have plenty payments methods), then we get our serial and apply it on rpg website to w.e account we want.. diferents serials/cards for diferent amounts, just like every single game or service that sells cards/time/serials/keys/codes  in that website, and there are alot

After that rpg admins gets the money from offgamers... ofc they will charge some comision but i guess is a way that everybody can get silver coins.

BTW, u dont even have to mention lineage 2, you will sell on offgamers "rpg club silver coins to use on rpg club website" and done.

Is officially called a donation, i am sure if they would call this a "business transaction" that they would have problem.

Fix moneyBookers currency. Its like way more than 0,06 cents per RUR/SC.

Quoteabout moneybookers - everything must be right if they enter 2pay from "my account" section

Try this and let me know if it's ok.

Call me ignorant, but could someone share with me for what exactly those donated money would go? And after it, what would be available for trading ingame with donated money?
Thank you.

What do u mean for what it would go? It would go for server upkeep costs and admin's new Ferrari.

And for what u can get ingame, log to x5 and check gm shop. Remove the vitality items from there and u have the x15 gm shop.

From what i understood from Alice, they first modified the old one from x35 but something went wrong so they made a new one. If u go directly, it will show u the old values and if u go from "my account" section it shows you the new one. I need opinions from more ppl, if everyone has same problem as Arcain.
Title: Re: Suggest a PayPal alternative
Post by: Arcain on November 17, 2010, 01:09:36 PM
I'm logged, going to donate (2pay) button in my account, choosing moneybookers and it's in CZK. Payment is also being done in CZK, i checked. Maybe it would be possible to add a selection, like for liqpay where you can choose the currency you pay in.
Title: Re: Suggest a PayPal alternative
Post by: Groar on November 17, 2010, 03:04:41 PM
atm 1 RUR = 0,093 $    (by monebookers)

@Arcain moneybookers can change any ->CZK so that not a problem

This moneybookers is quite easy to use but by liqPay 1 RUR = 0,05$ so its almost 2 times less than MB ;<
Title: Re: Suggest a PayPal alternative
Post by: Arcain on November 17, 2010, 03:09:07 PM
That's a problem, cause 1RUR should be 0.05$ while in CZK it costs almost twice as much, especially when your bank need to convert it to your currency in the end.
Title: Re: Suggest a PayPal alternative
Post by: Groar on November 17, 2010, 03:12:29 PM
Bank is not converting anything, u transfer money from ur bank to moneybookers account in ur currency and when u donate u are rdedirected to moneybookers transfer site and they are converting it :P
Anyway as u said by moneybookers RUR costs almost 2 times more...

I guess the change cost from Euro to RUB changed so what you can get for the same amount of euro changed (but not in RUB)

Oh, and btw, I suggest a "fack for RUR" alternative.  :D

Wouldn't say it works well. Take a look at exchange rate where it's 0.4$ per 2 RURs in Gate2Shop and 0.04$ (normal price) for 1 RUR in for example LiqPay.

You're sure about it? If so then exchange rate on site is displayed wrong cause at the moment for 1000 RURs it's about 13$ price diffrence according to info from site.

RURs shuld be in your inventory. You should also be offline while donating, otherwise there might be some problems. In that case you should write to support.
