tl;dr: save your money/bandwidth, you dont wanna be blizzard's betatester and pay for doing so

cool story: So far the game has been one of the biggest disappointment ever, infantile dialogues, the storyline is a joke, 99% of ingame videos you already saw in the trailer (the one where protoss speak in optimus prime's voice), the mission desing is made by 10 years old kids, in one the missions where you are supposed to "hold on" until cavalery arrives, I managed to destroy every single zerg on the map -> CUTSCENE -> my base is on fire with zillions of zergs rushing my buildings and of the incoming marines said something like "I see we arrived on time!". What is that, 1995? And am I not speaking about the lack of AA, nonexisting motion capture, the SCVs are still geting stucked in buildings (what the fuck?), seriously, it's like merging five different games, five different ALPHA versions together with absolutely no sense, no linkups (as seen on Terminator: Salvation), no goal, no whatever, i don't even know.

Go play dawn of war instead.

It is, if you are ten years old and never played any game before.

So I think that Blizzard didn't aimed at a "story-based game", perhaps the focus is for LAN / Internet(dunno, maybe) although I liked that it was the opposite, which is usually what gives reputation to this type of game, but all this,I already was waiting that was so, so I am not that disappointed...yes you are right Blizzard should pay more attention for those cutscenes, it's a bit embarrassing :)

didn't played the single player campaign yet, but i was a beta tester and i must say i'm very disappointed by SC2. i was expecting an evolution of the game, not the same one with better graphics. come on, an izometric game in 2010?!?!? wtf?
also sc1 may have had better gameplay and balance between classes than this one. where are the lurkers? the firebats? the wraiths? scouts? those wore some of the best units in game. all those are gone.
while the game looks gorgeous, i was expecting a lot more from this game. especially since i've been waiting for sc2 for over 5 years!!!

Sure, as far as im correct, half of the copies of SC1 ever sold were in Korea, so I would understand that singleplayer gameplay wasn't their main focus. But still, don't forget it's an AAA+ game with budget of more than 100m$. One hundred million US dollars, so pardon me for expecting more than just a-little-too-late second datapack that was made during school break, especially after I have been looking forward for the past several years. I feel sad.  :-\

I havent played SC 1 but SC 2 looks pretty cool, i personally miss few things from W40k but expect those retarded builders(stucked in bulidings) game is mucho fun :D Hope they will fix/add smth new in patches. Well if im not wrong there will be 2 more games cuz when u finish campaign u get info that SC 2 gonna be a trilogy, next expansion -"Heart of the Swarm", Prolly it will change  a bit with 2 new expensions.   WTB more sides! :<

i played the sc1 and i was w8ting the sc2 for years
im glad, especially cus they didnt modify the game, i mean few changes like new units, improves on graphics and the new storyline, the best of sc2 isnt the the campaign mod lol, we are talking about a RTS game and sc2 is still the best game of his genre.

If you're playing SC2 and you're complaining about the game being bad because of the single player campaign, please kill yourself.

SC2 will be a giant success, if it isn't one already. Blizzard basically took the original SC, alter it without compromising the old elements and released it with better graphics. The whole thing felt like playing the original SC and that alone will keep the old players playing. As for new players, well public hype is the best marketing weapon. I think it was the first time in my life that I heard a video game release as the headline news of a radio station that does nothing but report news 24/7.

The game will come out three times ($$$) with one singleplayer campaign in each "game" to justify their very existence and it's not called Starcraft: Arena. Multiplayer only version would on the other be something that I would very welcome (and would stay with sc1 anyway, if I were 10 years old again), so, keep your trolling attempts kiddo, no, that's not how it's done.

I love how you quoted my post and answered with something that has 0 relevance to it. I'm attempting to troll you? Please, if I felt like trolling, I would find someone worthwhile.

btw ever heard of game expansions, because it appears you have never been exposed to that idea before

Implying you're not the one who started that in the first place.
