Its pretty weird whats happening.. I have little lags in general. BUT when I start to attack monsters extreme lag starts. Never seen this happen before.
I don't see anyone complaining about this, I can't be the only one.. I tried 5 other servers and this is not happening, I don't have any lag but Empire. I can't see anyone else that have this problem, maybe its a bad route between me and server host??? Its unplayable, and I hope admins read this, and are at least aware of this because the first 3 days of Empire, everything was perfect, but now its unplayable. :(

Works fine here except for the small 0.5-1second delay. They said DDoS is under control now but they still have some issues with network, so i guess this is why you guys have these issues. They will probably fix it tomorrow seeing how today is sunday.
Yes, it seems a small amount of people have this issue, I went around shouting in giran/aden for about 30minutes asking if anyone else had it, and only 2 people confirmed they have it. I'm patient though(no choice, no other server better than Empire). ;D

No, because I've had the same 'client' since the beginning, and the first 3 days of server was perfectly fine.. only the last day this started happening.
I have more then 1Sec delay it's horrible.... Somethime 6Sec more..

Everyone with irregularly lags are using bot programs or 3th party software! The lag is caused by the delay it takes for your 3th party program to read the incoming files, till it send the new files.

I guess you weren't around here at previous RPG server beginnings. It always was like this, like with any other popular server. Strong DDoS at start. And on previous RPG servers it always took several days to a week to completely fix the issues. Have patience, they will eventually fix it fully. DDoS attacks are extremely hard to block, even for big corporations.

You're just as the guy above. Try to think before writing something. If you were the one DDoSing, why would you stop?! You don't, not until the server is in the ground. Also, friday server was unplayable, non stop disconnects and crashes. Since saturday evening when they announced DDoS is under control, at least you can play. There are delays, for some bigger than for others, but there are no more disconnects or crashes. Obviously the DDoS is still there since there still are lags and small freezes.
ALSO! Do you think that the RPG staff (Alice, Maxim, LagysFey etc.) are the ones working to block this attack? Don't be naive :)
RPG servers are hosted in a top German datacenter, the staff there is the one that deals with this stuff! Only thing RPG does is to pay for this protection. Again, there is NO perfect protection against DDoS attacks, it takes time to block 'em completely.

Now they moved the datacenter in russia cause of the DDoS attacks, you can check by running dos start --> cmd --> netstat -n. this should be the IP of empire server 213.59.44.50:7777 ESTABLISHED
They couldn't have moved it so easily and so fast. It's probably just some proxy, some way their protection works against DDoS. Ofc you could be right also, but since server started it has never been offline for more than 15 minutes. I doubt that is enough to transfer all database from the german datacenter to another one and configure it plus whatever else work needs to be done for such a thing. I remember when dex changed datacenter, it took them several days to move.

ur right its proxy server redirecting us to ru BUT, before the day of the perma dc in npc server we were conecting to same ip and after flushdns i had 0 delay and 29ping+-
smth they changed after that day which keep server up with bigger latency

Just tried it, works fine for me today. I've asked other ppl and all said it's fine. I suppose they still need to improve the situation for other people, the unlucky ones.
All those 12 years old russians just came home from school, lags are back :'(
for me its playable for pve now but i cant imagine play like this in any pvp/oly. when i conect gives me 130ping but sensation in game is like having 300+ ping :-\

Server always was in Germany, but the traffic is routed through the company that protects them from the DDoS attack. As long as the attack continues we will have to play like this.

Just tried it. On the Germany server 1 it works perfectly! It already was fine for me today, playable, but with battleping the response time is LAN like, nice nice!
i have big lags too, but with battleping almost all lag gone, but this sh1t. dc every 20min, and some times you logg and it dont active
I logged now without battleping and it works just as good as with battleping, maybe they finally fixed the lags. Try to log without it and see how it works for you!

Some of us have uber net +battleping or latrex and still we have 3-4 sec lags while russians can play w/o lag even with 250kb net so you made this server for russians or for all ? if for russians ppls change the fcking server name and make russians server not international cuz all have lags beside russians.

im trying to read net,find proxies, u could do same and try find solution like some ppls here.we wont have an admin solvin every issue for every single person in this forum.

I don't have fast internet and I have no lags at all. Maybe 2 times a day I lag for like 5 seconds. If you are from Europe/Asia u shouldn't have problems with connection. If you do, the problem lies in your network. Contact your ISP.
Try running CMD and type tracert space and the RPG-Club IP address which is 213.59.44.50. You should be able to time your connection and lags. Basically if there is low activity on your feed, than your internet sux.
Also I have russian CP's in my clan and some of them are having lags also. So it's not Russia VIP zone.

Please don't discuss things you do not understand. The proxies are not on your local computer, they are server side and it's a measure of protection against DDoS.

I heard Joscelin said there is going to be new patch, that fixes the disconnects, but i can't confirm this information.

You can't expect everything to be perfect all the time with so much online and another server coming up. The develepoment of Federation High Five x7 also affects Empire.
In my opinion it wasn't a good idea to start Federation before Empire stabilizes, but oh well..
