Like I said in another thread I took almost a 2 year break from L2 (last time played on aerith): aerith and this server are both 5x, but now not even after 1 week, this server already has several people over lvl 70 (on aerith it took way longer for most people to reach lvl 70)? How is this possible? Only with the new vitality system or are there some other stuff I don't know: for example new worthwhile quests or instances?
BTW: are most of the quests still useless or are there now actually some, which are "must-do" ?

just 1 word -- "Cakes"
in 4 day u can get to 70 easily with full vit

Here are the the things you need to become 70+ quickly
1) Cakes
2) Having no life

cakes and runes are GAY.
way to ruin the server.
cakes (max your vitality out with the new vitality system)obviously help a lot, but in comparison to aerith ( c5) you have to understand gracia is 9000x easier to level. Gracia is all about 79+ everyone wants to get past the old c5 content anyways, even with cakes 80+ can be rough.
as far as quests there are many good quests you can do, some will give you 3+ levels at higher end lvls 60+
Everything is about 79/80+ in gracia and it's gonna be a pain even with vitality level 4, specially after the antibot will arrive if u get what i'm saying : )
As quests, pailaka is the best u can do, only once per char. There are 3 pailaka quests, one at 36-42, one at 61-67 and one at 73-77 (i think i got the levels right). It will give u quite a nice boost in xp and increase in ur vita level.

So those "cakes" are donation only right? Which leaves me the option with only the normal vitality system: so you just grind mobs with it like you always do or is there something else in gracia final that will make leveling alot easier?
Is there anything else new aside from Pailaka (solo) and Kamaloka (party) instances, which gives alot of exp?
Afaik u can get the cakes also by voting for the server. You can also get some hats for lower prices (by voting) that give u a 20 minute buff that increases vitality. There are also vitality herbs and, ofcourse, the occasional event that helps ur vitality (like the gatekeeper event).
Ok thanks for all the infos. Just a last question: you can vote only once a day right?
Hunting raids and being in town or offline also increases it, dont forget the basic stuff.

Nobody will catch the big clans except for ... the big clans with or without cakes.
To remove the cakes for adena, and increase it's price (needed sc) was very stupid. Big clans nolifed with cakes and reached 78, then you remove the cakes, while the rest of the server is still at 50lv, the "big" clans has a huge advandage, and it will take way more time for lowbies to catch up the big clans.
Actually, it was very stupid to have sc for adena in the first place; talking about the future of the server here, imagine later in 2 months or so NOBODY would donate, they would get everything from shop with adena. That means no income for server -> server closed -> your play time here wasted.
And the problem with price increase was that it was made without an announcement, it was way to low imo.
This is just MY opinion, not the one of admins. Anyway, they are talking about it and you will know the decision ... when ever it will come ...
thats when you introduce class change quest to donation.
I've used only 5 cakes and im 68 so yes it is alot easier. With common items + herbs you can level so much easier than c5 days.
