Title: Make the launcher autocheck the files?
Post by: SC123 on March 03, 2010, 05:54:32 AM
Is it possible to make the rpg club launcher auto check the files on start? Its annoying to check the files each time before I can hit the start button.

And is it normal that the launcher is in russian?

just change ini file to auto check and auto start so u wont even have to press start.
in cause it wasnt simple enough open the notepad file below launcher that ends with .ini
on autostart=0 change the 0 with 1 same with auto update
have fun

settings file (rpgupdater.ini) is created only when you change settings to non-default.
btw, there's already an option for autoupdate and autostart.

just delete the updater from your l2 folder and run from l2.exe

see "file exceptions" area on my screenshot? click the [ + ] button below it, new file field will apear in the list.
click on that one and type "system/systemmsg-e.dat"

also see here: https://forumen.rpg-club.net/index.php?topic=29.msg388#msg388

FYI: bypassing the updater is not allowed, see rules. :D

Another way is to put the systemmsg-e.dat file as read only, did that before I found out how to de-activate the launcher.

launcher is made to keep files updated, not for people to "deactivate" it.
