you have i5-2500k +30 enchant CPU by Intel-Chivas, you shouldnt have any issues even in 1k vs 1k

I may be mistaken, but I prolbably read somewhere that it is going to change a bit in H5 client, performence should be better. Can anyone confirm this?

In mass pvp 100vs100 dont care if is in HIGH or LOW details, i guess is more important have more MEM RAM like 8GB than have a good VGA right? Did you tested it? Because if we gonna talk about Graphics, Lineage II is worst  than Ragnarok in graphics.

no, graphic in l2 is 10 years old you would be ok with geforce 2. I almost sure that your pc is 100% enought for l2 and you wont see any difrence by upgrade it, check if your processor is used by 100% if yes you can change it :)

Rofl!

My w00den PC config:

Amd Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (Overclocked by 14%),
Galaxy GeForce 8600 GT 256MB (Overclocked by 23%)
Dual Channel RAM: 2x 1GB Geil.

Shitty Maxtor (Now Maxtor = Seagate) HDD! Old and slow. :<  Playin' L2 with this HDD (even with 1acc) = OSOM HARDSTYLE!

Your PC won't really change anything for L2 anyway, it's more about connection QQ
I got nice PC and i'm lagging as shit on RPG (having delay and so on)

WTB connection and WTB some fixs from server, never lagged like that before @_@

Guys, at moment i using a 4600 ati radeon version, and i thinking to buy this one:

Sapphire Ati Radeon Hd 6770 1gb Gddr5 Hdmi

What you think about this card?, will be good for 9x9, and sieges.. Have big difference ofc against 4600 ati radeon.. I wanna know so i go buy or no this card..

Yeah, but you know that 4670 ati radeon is very old card.. But i think 9x9 i can handle good with 3/4 account logged, but with this one 4670 when i go aden i get very laggy.. Like wtf.. !!

Well u think is useless to buy 6770 sapphire to play l2?..

No, i dont need a better CPU, already i have a good phenom II x3 720 BE not overclocked.. And 4GB of ram.

The only thing that is not good at all is the GC 4670 DDR3.. Well now i go for the HD 4850 1GB DDR3 Dual.

I really dont want full graphics, maybe yes but i want play with fluid using 3 clients at same time.. And 4850 dual 1gb will be the way..

Yea, it's true.. I can handle good with ati radeon 4670 is 512 gddr3.. So better i stay with this for l2 no need more and i playing with high textures and the others 2 option i put low, for lineage no need go for better gc 4 sho.

i've added 3GB ram on my PC, which use AMD dual core 64 bit and it decreased the lag, but only a little. Some time after, i added a new VGA, - some enVidia, 2 GB 256 bit and it decreased the lag only a little bit more (i was using 512 nVidia before). The next step i will do is buying SSD disk which i belive will do the difference, but untill than i will play with frame lag on every mass event where are more than 3 parties involved ;/

Well SSD won't add much fps all he does makes L2 run smoother and decreases areas loading time.

yes, but i have reached the conclusion that the reason for the lag i have is because of slow loading of the geodata. so if, in mass pvp, it load faster the happening around my char, this should be enough to decrease the lag enough to be playable. if not .. i think i am gona reroll to buffer :D

yes, but i have reached the conclusion that the reason for the lag i have is because of slow loading of the geodata. so if, in mass pvp, it load faster the happening around my char, this should be enough to decrease the lag enough to be playable. if not .. i think i am gona reroll to buffer :D
Well if u have aditional 6500 € you can try to buy this beast Intel Extreme X79 Motherboard 5,7 ghz  i7 Core 2700k processor cooling system which can maintain zero temperature 4 SLI Graphic cards SSD Raid and much more :D

if i had 6.5k euros do you think i would play with 2 years old AMD 64 bit dual core? also, what for, would i need a 4x VGA ? these 6.5k euro for this configurationa wherever u've seen it, are total waste of money...

i've added 3GB ram on my PC, which use AMD dual core 64 bit and it decreased the lag, but only a little.
Well SSD won't add much fps all he does makes L2 run smoother and decreases areas loading time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz-dobBE79o
it wont add any fps, but ssd is the first "must have" upgrade after buying cpu for L2.
For those who cant buy it and have a lot of ram  - use Ram Disk.

How works that SSD disk? And how much can cost it? Is important to have it to play?

Well about lags i never have, since Battleping solved all my problems.. Without that i cant play l2 when you use Battleping u can see the lold difference!

SSD can work with bigger ammount of data for less time to finish the process.. said shortly.

access time to data for ssd is like ~0,02 ms and for HDD ~ 2 ms ( for example, dont remember for sure )

I'll think in the future about that SSD.

hm , i see a lot of differences between 3850 and 5770 , cause with 5770 in full graph at xy place where u have big terrain range i had laggs (5770 128bit) , and with 3850 what have 256bit bus width , no laggs

Graphic card influence only details and some rendering in L2 or what is there and terrain range. Just try to maximize number of npc etc at max and check on siege and then minimalize it only you will see that difference.
Also shadows are epic shit in l2 firstly its so ugly and then it takes so much cpu performance:D

Yes, 4850 have 256 bits.. Well about lags in giran when you teleport that is not about CPU right? With SSD i guess can notice some differences in aden?.. At moment im not using any SSD.

And about graphics, i only have HIGH in "textures" the rest in low.

ssd will help you with loading and you can use high details at all you will be only limited with "CPU" coz of that lol engine

Lmao, you can play in HIGH quality try it..
I have only 4GB of ram, and same VGA like you and i playing in HIGH, and i can open like 4 L2 windows.
In aden is the place that i get a lot lag when i teleport there, but it's normal, you must wait some minutes to NPC appear and thats all.
