Title: Today`s update and virus alert
Post by: Grintch on June 04, 2011, 02:15:10 PM
Hi everyone,

Today while I tried to to launch the game, it asked me to update the client by running rpgupdater.

I did so, but afterwards when I try to launch L2, AVG pops up saying that it finds a virus Win32/Heur at the system.dll.

Is this something happened to anyone else?

Even if I can ignore it, the real question is: is it sensible to do so?I was running the game for long time without any problems with the antivirus until today, and I am not so happy going around ignoring virus alerts::)

It's not a virus. Add this to exception list, couse anti-virus think it's virus, since this is modded stuff, but it's not really a virus. Just antivirus thinks so... Just add it to exception list and play without any worries.
