First, sorry for my English. I'll try to write the best way that I can.
I took nine years playing Lineage 2. I played in official and private servers. Lately, I've seen that are servers that are succeeding, and that servers are failing. By this I will give my suggestion. This is what you need this server, at least that's what I think.
After so many years, the old players are few. Everything has evolved and the number of players that are now not content just to have a retail server.
The overall game and now all existing games has become more competitive than ever. We humans love to prove who is the best.
So you should focus more on making external events with small rewards in currencies server (eg RUR).
In addition you ought to be getting in the top in the list of best websites in search engines like "www.gtop100.com" or "www.l2top.co".
And something that can help you to attract many players is to use TwitchTV.
Players do nothing without a profit. So that the benefit should be some kind of reward (eg RUR) with which they can get some benefits in the game. (Life Stone, hair accessory, vitality, rune for exp / sp among other things...)
My suggestions are:
- Add a way to vote for the server simply by clicking (as already exists in some private servers)
- Rewards for people to vote for the server
- Rewards for three best video pvp week.
- Rewards for best screenshot week
- Some GM make use of Twitch TV showing pvp server and highlights of the Castle Siege
The videos showcase the best that you can have a server. You must do much stress upon this.
If you have any other suggestions (not Unbalance or break the scheme that makes this unique server) please I would love to hear it. I think this post is necessary.
I have another suggestion, you Take I hope you well and without creating any controversy. I just try to be as honest and clear as possible.
When you enter the server find that is open to everyone without restriction of any country, but is almost entirely Russian-speaking. This is not a problem until you find Russian characters in stores in major public chats (global, shout, trade, hero).
This is one of the main reasons (I would say the biggest cause) that many players choose another server. Maybe restringuir use these characters in shops and public chats would be a good option (for Whisp, clan and party is not a problem).
I can understand that the server is Russian and all the work that doing is great, but if we talk about attracting people and that the server is full for a long time, this is necessary, now more than ever. The English is the international language and that it should be used. Again, please do not want to start an argument, I just want to think clearly and logically.
Lineage 2 Classic and works in Russia and in a short period of time will also be available in the rest of Europe. This is something to consider as many players leave the server.

There used to be rewards for voting in the older rpg servers, not quite sure why they removed it.
Rewards for best pvp video are biased, because the top parties would win most of those contests. Do you really wanna empower top players even more? I think the events that the server has are plenty, not to mention the NTC, that some people abuse.
About the highlight suggestion, I kinda like the idea. I`ll be sure to forward this to the rest of the staff, maybe some one can make the time to oversee something like this.

Hello, thank you for your answer. Forgive me for not being with you. Last year I played in a private server will not say the name. There I had very basic equipment, Vesper and only 50% attribute. I made a video about 8 minutes.On that server, many people were very well equipped with full equipment +16 and full epics with very large clans players.
I was just an ant in a castle of gold. For my video I got the best reward had been given at that time. The video was fluid and was well edited and the "essence" of the pvp Lineage 2. They saw that and rewarded even though I was not a top player saw.
It is important to promote this kind of thing is what people appreciate and is the largest showcase for players to show "become better" and keep fighting.

No doubt about that. The problem is that players will not vote if it is not in exchange for any reward or at least as easy to vote for the server with make a single click.
This can be a problem, but I believe that the greatest reward would be to see the fullest server and truly international.
That wont be necessary, they had over 20k+ votes on pool to choose the rates and etc, i'm sure we will have a nice and fully rpg-club new server, as always.

I have no doubt. but after the server runs totally dead, because players get tired and do not come new players. That is what we must avoid.

Do you have any particular example?
The problem of adding the server in the tops is that they want their button on our site in return, while we don't want all these buttons :)
So we try to negotiate other terms, some don't answer or reject.
3) We are always looking for streamers for our TwitchTV channel.
We are ready to support, promote and reward.
Not many volunteers so far, sadly.
4) We'd like to start a "word of mouth campaign" and reward people for promoting the new server on non-Russian sites, forums and in social networks.

Except that if RPG were to open a Classic server me (and probably a shit load of other people) would rather play here than there. It will most definitely have better rates and we know RPG's donation policy is probably the best among privates.

My idea is that most European players come to play and not only Polish and Russian players.
Besides giving some suggestion that more players, no matter their origin, want to play here instead of another server.

I think every post about RPG Start on different sites is good if it means it can bring more people! (And that was ur main goal in this topic) And Alice's post doesn't mean that advertising is only for Russian or Polish people, just an effort to inform everywhere where it's possible. :)

I can assume that my proposal on the language of the stores was rejected. It will once again be a strong headache for those who are not Russians at the time of trade.
