Hi there, well going directly to the point:

i have a 5 mb adsl conection, im from Argentina, and i have about 400 - 450 ping ALLWAYS whit the server. i tested another isp's + tested 1 month whit 10 mb conection and also not adsl conections but its around the same ping. any1 got this same problem? any1 know how to solve it?.

Ps: i would like to know any other alternative than BP, i dont rly like to pay for gaming...

basicly how BP works is that they tunnel your connection trough a proxy server, so it alters your route to the gaming server, hopefully in a positive effect. you can do the same if you have a friend who has his pc on all the time, or at least times when you play, and he can set up a proxy server. you can find tons of guides about it using google! then you can use a program, for example proxifier (its not free, but you can download cracked versions from torrent sites) to make your L2 connect trough that proxy server.

try using leatrix latency fix, you can easily find this on google or try a program like proxifier. i myself started to use these methods after battleping switched to pay to use and all tho they are not as good it is still a noticably better difference with response time etc in game.

For swift gameplay you need at least 1MB good quality connection. Using YourFreedom application combined with Proxifier you can check bandwidth needed for l2.
Try using traceroute command in command line and check where those pings are getting worse.
This knowlage will let you know if you can change anything about those.

Leatrix Latency Fixer is just app that modify registry at Network Interface's settings like :
TcpAckFrequency and TcpNoDelay.
Those would affect only if problems are coused by your machine configuration.
In Most of cases ppl just think it help's them couse they wanna it working (hope).

Before starting to manipulate registry entries and other critical areas of system, check if network problems are coused by your machine/router/modem or just poor stability at one of server that you're connection is passing through.

Most common commands are Ping, Tracert, PathPing.
Ill explain tracert couse its most usefull tool.
Start->Run. Type cmd and press enter so the black window appear.
write :
tracert (serverIP or Login IP)

It'll show path that you're packets are traveling to destination (serverIP or loginIP)
You should notice where your ping is going higher.

tracert rpg-club.net will direct u to web server, game servers are completely other machines, in DE datacenter.
Enter game, go cmd, type netstat, and somewhere there u will have ip of gameserver.

Also, x15 will be soon moved to other datacenter, so pings will change... lets hope for better.
